ADJUSTABLE CYLINDER BRACKET
A cylinder transport and mounting system is provided. This system includes a object mounting yoke, and at least one bracket selected from the group consisting of a conveyance mounting bracket, and user mounting bracket, wherein the cylinder mounting yoke is configured to attach securely to a cylinder and to detachably interface with the conveyance mounting bracket and/or to detachably interface with the user mounting bracket.
WELDED NOZZLE FOR A TANK CAR
A tank for a railway tank car includes an outer tank, a nozzle, a fittings plate, and a set of pipes. The nozzle protrudes through the outer tank such that an outer edge of the nozzle extends past an exterior surface of the outer tank. An intersection between the nozzle and the outer tank defines an opening in the outer tank. The fittings plate is welded to the nozzle around the outer edge of the nozzle. The set of pipes pass through the fittings plate and into the outer tank through the nozzle. The set of pipes includes pipes to load and/or unload fluid from the tank.
HYDROGEN PRESSURIZING RIG
A hydrogen pressurizing rig (100) for pressurizing, purging, and/or reclaiming hydrogen from a hydrogen storage tank of a vehicle, the hydrogen pressurizing rig comprising: a compressor (106) comprising a compressor inlet and a compressor outlet: a supply inlet (112) coupled or couplable to a hydrogen source, the supply inlet fluidly coupled or couplable with the compressor inlet: a pressurizing outlet (118) for coupling to a storage tank to be pressurized, the pressurizing outlet fluidly coupled or couplable with the compressor outlet: a first pressure sensor (124) disposed for sensing a pressure during pressurizing of the storage tank and for outputting a first pressure signal based on the sensed pressure, the first pressure signal being indicative of a pressure within the storage tank; and a controller (126) coupled to receive the pressure signal, and being programmed and configured to control operation of the compressor such that, in use, the compressor pumps hydrogen from the supply inlet into the storage tank via the pressurizing outlet, such that a pressure ramp rate indicated by the pressure signal does not exceed a predetermined pressure ramp rate.
PORTABLE PRESSURE VESSEL APPARATUS
An exemplary portable pressure vessel apparatus includes a cylinder body, an undercarriage subassembly, and a collar subassembly. The undercarriage subassembly includes a foot portion, one or more wheel mount brackets, two wheels, and a forward tilt stabilizer. The collar subassembly is attached to the top dome of the cylinder body, and includes a collar, one or more rear support feet, and one or more collar brackets. The wheels are removably mountable to respective wheel mount brackets. The forward tilt stabilizer is removably securable to the foot portion. The wheels and the forward tilt stabilizer are configured to stably support the cylinder body on a local horizontal surface in a vertical position when the wheels are mounted and the forward tilt stabilizer is secured. The foot portion is configured to stably support the cylinder body in a vertical position when the forward tilt stabilizer and the wheels are removed.
Storage tank
A storage tank includes a frame, tank assembly, and scrubber system. The tank assembly including a vessel supported by the frame and having a first end, a second end, and a sidewall extending from the first end to the second end. The vessel further has a top, a bottom, at least one side, an internal surface, and an outlet fluidly coupled with the bottom. A scrubber tank is supported by the frame and fluidly connected to the top of the vessel to receive vapors from the vessel in a way that when a vapor absorption material is disposed in the scrubber tank, the vapors pass into the vapor absorption material.
Tank Collar for Pressurized Tank
Disclosed is a collar for mounting on a top portion of a pressurized tank. The collar comprises: a body, a fastening system and a rotatable lid disposed on the collar. Further provided is a collar with a window cut-out for viewing tank data and a regulator mounting clip for securing a regulator of the tank in place during use.
