GUARD FOR A COMPRESSED AIR TANK
A detachable handle includes a substantially U-shaped structural member and a second attaching member. A proximal end of the structural member includes a first attaching member and a distal end includes a plurality of clip members and at least one hole to hold a plurality of connection fittings and couplers respectively. A central opening is formed to hold at least one valve assembly when the second attaching member is connected to the first attaching member using at least one fastening member. The detachable handle is designed to keep the plurality of connection fittings and the at least one valve assembly away from the ground and out of the dirt.
Method and apparatus for controlling gas flow from cylinders
A valve integrated pressure regulator (VIPR) device that can be attached to the outlet of a gas cylinder, which can monitor the amount of gas in the cylinder is provided. Features of the disclosed device include an electronic control, electronic alarm and the electronic display that are powered by rechargeable battery that may be disposed within the VIPR shroud or within a removable cylinder base affixed to a bottom of the gas cylinder. Additional functionality and security features may be provided via additional internally disposed sensors and/or wireless or hard-wired communications with one or more auxiliary devices.
SHROUD ASSEMBLY FOR A PORTABLE PRESSURIZED GAS CYLINDER
A portable gas cylinder assembly is disclosed which includes a gas cylinder having a central axis and a protective shroud configured to encase the gas cylinder and including opposed half-sections mechanically connected to one other along a vertical plane intersecting the central axis of the gas cylinder.
Handle Spanning Two Cylinders
The invention pertains generally to a handle which spans across two cylinders, each cylinder having a pair of collars, in which mating engagement is secured by various fastening approaches employing the peripheral ends of each handle.
HANDLE ASSEMBLY FOR A PORTABLE PRESSURIZED GAS CYLINDER
Provided is a handle assembly for a cylinder. The handle assembly includes a handle support configured to couple to a valve of the cylinder. The handle support includes a body having first and second ends circumferentially spaced from one another to define a gap and a longitudinal passage opening to a top and bottom of the body for receiving the valve, and first and second deflectable arms projecting from the body. The handle assembly also includes a handle rotatably coupled to the handle support. The handle including a top portion, first and second side portions, and an attachment member coupled to the first and second deflectable arms of the handle.
PROTECTIVE DEVICE FOR PRESSURIZED GAS CONTAINERS
Protective devices for pressurized gas cylinders have a housing which is arranged around an inner cavity intended for receiving an extraction valve and which has access openings for the extraction connection and for further fittings. In order to counteract soiling or contamination of the extraction connection, the invention provides for an elastically deformable safety element to be fastened to the housing in the region of the access opening of the extraction connection, said element being able to be swung out from a closed position, in which the extraction connection is completely covered and/or enclosed by the safety element, into a position in which it frees the extraction connection.
TANK LEVEL SENSOR AND MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A sensor assembly is positioned on an exterior of a tank to measure a fluid level within the tank. The tank is modified to include a surface feature and the sensor assembly is slotted within that surface feature. The sensor assembly includes a sensor device and a control circuit configured to drive the sensor device and evaluate readings to determine the fluid level. The sensor assembly further includes a communications interface to enable communication with a management system via a communications network. The management system can store information (e.g. fill status) related to the tank and additionally communicate with vendors or end users to coordinate resupply.
Canister Caps for Cryopreservation Applications
A cap for closing a canister includes a receptacle including a bottom wall, and one or more walls extending upward from the bottom wall and defining an opening of the receptacle that is configured to receive a body of the canister, and a handle extending upward from the receptacle and defining vertical slots that are configured to receive respective hooks of the canister.
Oxy-acetylene work apparatus and method for determining the operating time of said apparatus
An oxyacetylene type work apparatus including a first container containing acetylene; a first pressure gauge configured to measure the pressure in the first container, a first two-dimensional marking disposed on the first dial, a second container containing oxygen; a second pressure gauge configured to measure the pressure in the second container, a second two-dimensional marking disposed on the second dial, an image capturing device configured to produce images of the first pressure gauge and of the second pressure gauge; an electronic logic circuit configured to process said images of the first and second pressure gauges thereby determining the respective angular positions, and a sensor configured to measure the temperature of the first acetylene container.
DIGITALLY MONITORING OF COMPOSITE PRESSURE VESSEL
System and method for digitally monitoring a pressure vessel for holding compressed gas, wherein the system comprises a sensor unit placeable on the pressure vessel for gathering information regarding the condition of the pressure vessel, a communication unit for wirelessly communicating the gathered information to a receiver wherein the sensor unit comprises a temperature sensor for measuring the temperature of the pressure vessel, a gas pressure sensor, at least one power unit for supplying power to the sensors and the communication unit.
