Multi-function three-stage pressure regulator
An integrated pressure regulator is provided with three stages configured to reduce an extreme tank pressure down to a typical working pressure. The regulator is configured to supply a steady working pressure until the tank pressure is reduced to little more than the working pressure itself. Stages of the pressure regulator are integrated into a body and arranged to minimize regulator mass and volume. A thermally-triggered pressure relief device may be included with a triggering time adapted to enhance the safety of smaller cylinders that may be used, e.g., in aerial applications.
GAS FLOW ALARM
Aspects and embodiments relate to a gas flow alarm apparatus and gas flow alarm method. The apparatus comprises: a device configurable to introduce back pressure into a flow of gas, a supply sensor configured to determine whether gas flow to the device is enabled; a pressure sensor configured to determine whether a flow of gas through the device has developed back pressure; and logic circuitry in communication with the supply sensor and the pressure sensor configured to determine whether gas flow to the device is enabled and whether a flow of gas through the device has developed back pressure and, if not, to activate an alarm condition. Aspects and embodiments can provide a system which operates to warn a user against various adverse conditions in which a flow of therapeutic gas to a patient is required, yet not being provided.
LEVER VALVE WITH SECURING HOOK
A valve for compressed gas, comprising a body extending longitudinally, with a gas inlet at a lower end of the body, a gas outlet and a gas passage fluidly interconnecting the gas inlet and the gas outlet; a shut-off device housed in the body and configured for selectively shutting-off and opening the gas passage; a lever pivotally mounted on the body, at an upper end of the body, and configured for actuating the shut-off device; a hook pivotally mounted on the lever for engaging with a counter-shape on the body and thereby holding the lever in a folded position along the body; wherein the upper end of the body comprises a cylindrical wall delimiting an upper bore, the counter-shape being an upper edge of the cylindrical wall.
A MEGC TRAILER
The invention relates to a MEGC trailer for transportation and temporary storage of a pressurized gaseous fluid, the MEGC trailer comprising: two gas banks each comprising one or more gas sections and a fluid conduit system. The fluid conduit system comprises a first and a second bank valve between which an additional gas section is connected to the fluid conduit system. Wherein the first and second bank valves are controllable so that the volume of at least one of the two gas banks can be changed with the volume of the additional gas section.
System for Recycling Helium
A system for recycling helium comprising a bursting chamber with a re-sealable lid and a vent; a bursting mechanism disposed inside the bursting chamber; wherein the bursting chamber is in fluid communication with a compressor; wherein an output of the compressor is in fluid communication with an evacuation valve and a control valve; wherein when the evacuation valve is opened and the control valve is closed the compressor evacuates the air from the bursting chamber; and wherein when the evacuation valve is closed and the control valve is opened, and the bursting mechanism is activated, compressed helium gas recovered from balloons burst in the bursting chamber flows through the control valve into a helium storage tank.
On-tank regulator for high-pressure tank
A storage tank includes a tank wall, a pressure regulator, a low-pressure coupling, and a fill coupling. The tank wall of the storage tank is configured to contain a stored fluid at an internal pressure within the tank wall, the tank wall including an outer layer, an inner layer, and a regulator mount. The pressure regulator of the storage tank is connected to the regulator mount and is configured to receive a flow rate of the stored fluid and reduce the stored fluid from the internal pressure to an output pressure. The flow rate of the stored fluid is provided, via the low pressure coupling and at the output pressure to an external system. The fill coupling extends through the tank wall and receives the stored fluid from a fluid source to be stored within the storage tank.
A VALVE ASSEMBLY FOR PRESSURIZED CONTAINERS
A valve assembly for pressurized containers includes a main structure, a rotary control element rotatably connected to the main structure and configured so as to allow a gas flow through the valve assembly in accordance with an angular position thereof about a main rotation axis, a detection device which includes an angular position sensor and a movable member. The angular position sensor is configured to detect the angular position of the movable member about an auxiliary rotation axis. The movable member is rotatably supported on the main structure and the angular position sensor is fixed to the main structure. The valve assembly further includes a movement conversion mechanism configured so as to convert the movement of the rotary control element about the main axis into a corresponding rotational movement of the movable member about the auxiliary axis which is different with respect to the main rotation axis.
Valve lever apparatus for use with fluid valves
Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed for valve lever apparatus for use with fluid valves. An example apparatus includes a valve stem for a fluid valve, a pin removably coupled to an end of the valve stem to receive a valve lever to manually actuate the fluid valve, and a damping material to provide a damping effect between the valve stem and the valve lever.
Valve and reservoir(s) for pressurized fluid
A valve for pressurized fluid having a body housing a fluid circuit having an upstream end configured to be placed in communication with a reserve of pressurized fluid and a downstream end configured to be placed in communication with a user of fluid, the circuit having a collection of valve shutter(s) having at least one shutoff valve shutter allowing the circuit to be closed or opened, the valve having a member for manually controlling the collection of valve shutter(s), the control member being mounted with the ability to move on the body between a rest position in which the collection of valve shutter(s) is in a position in which the circuit is closed and an active position in which the control member actuates the collection of valve shutter(s) into a position in which the circuit is open with a first bore section.
Adapter for canister filling system and method for filling a gas canister
An adapter for a canister filling system includes a body having an opening that is shaped to enable insertion of a valve of a gas canister for holding a pressurized or liquefied gas, into an interior space of the body, leaving a sealed gap between at least a portion of a lateral aspect of the valve and an internal surface of the body facing the interior space; and at least one channel that is configured to conduct pressurized or liquified gas from a canister filling system into the sealed gap in the interior space, so as to reach one or more lateral exterior ports of the valve of the gas canister that open laterally to a longitudinal axis of a body of the gas canister, when the valve is inserted in the interior space, to facilitate filling of the gas canister with the pressurized or liquified gas through said one or more lateral exterior ports of the gas canister.
