A skid for capturing refrigeration from liquefied natural gas vaporization is disclosed comprising a first heat exchanger mounted on the skid, the first heat exchanger having a natural gas inlet, a natural gas outlet, a process fluid inlet, and a process fluid outlet. The process fluid is configured to flow from the process fluid inlet through the first heat exchanger to the process fluid outlet and then to the process fluid inlet. Other embodiments of the system for capturing refrigeration from vaporization of liquid natural gas, and methods for its use, are described herein.
Paired air pressure energy power system and power method thereof
Disclosed is a paired compress gas energy power system and power method. The paired compress gas energy power system includes: a paired compress gas energy storage device having a high pressure air container and a low pressure air container, the high pressure air container is filled with a high pressure gas, the low pressure air container is filled with a low pressure gas; a paired compress gas energy engine, respectively connected to the low pressure air container and the high pressure air container; and a power device connected to the rotary shaft of the paired compress gas energy engine, the power device is driven by the paired compress gas energy engine. The invention converts the paired compress gas energy into the mechanical torque energy through the paired compress gas energy engine to drive the power device to work, or to drive the generator to generate electric energy.
Systems for filling a gas cylinder
A flow control valve includes a housing defining a cavity therein. The housing has an input port for receiving a gas from a gas supply, and an output port for delivering the gas to a gas cylinder. The cavity defines a staging area fluidly connected to the input port, a delivery area fluidly connected to the output port, and a pressurization area fluidly connected to a feedback sensing port. The feedback sensing port is configured to receive pressurized fluid that is pressurized to a pressure level representative of a pressure level of gas delivered to the gas cylinder. The flow control valve includes a piston slidably positioned in a channel extending between the pressurization area and the delivery area. The position of the piston changes a rate of flow of gas through the flow control valve. The piston position moves in response to a pressure at the feedback sensing port.
HYDROGEN FILLING SYSTEM AND HYDROGEN FILLING METHOD
To provide a hydrogen filling system and a hydrogen filling method capable of preventing hydrogen from being filled at high filling rate in the same manner as the communication filling despite a condition that pressure, temperature and so on in the in-vehicle tank are not precisely grasped. The hydrogen filling system (100) of the present invention includes a control unit (CU1, CU2, CU3) for controlling hydrogen filling, wherein the control unit has a function of judging whether or not there is an abnormality in pressure or temperature data in an in-vehicle tank (IT) at communication filling and a function of stopping the communication filling and converting to non-communication filling when there is an abnormality in the pressure or the temperature data.
BOIL-OFF GAS RELIQUEFACTION SYSTEM
Disclosed is a BOG reliquefaction system. The BOG reliquefaction system includes: a compressor compressing BOG; a heat exchanger cooling the BOG compressed by the compressor through heat exchange using BOG not compressed by the compressor as a refrigerant; a pressure reducer disposed downstream of the heat exchanger and reducing a pressure of fluid cooled by the heat exchanger; and a second oil filter disposed downstream of the pressure reducer, wherein the compressor includes at least one oil-lubrication type cylinder and the second oil filter is a cryogenic oil filter.
System for filling LPG vehicle with LPG using auxiliary bombe
A system for filling an LPG vehicle with LPG using an auxiliary bombe is provided. The system may be configured for easily filling a main bombe with LPG even in the hot season (summertime) or the like during which the outside temperature rapidly rises, by using an auxiliary bombe in addition to using the main bombe. The system may also be capable of always smoothly refilling the main bombe with LPG by moving a portion of the LPG in the main bombe to the auxiliary bombe, when the pressure in the main bombe is higher than the LPG filling pressure of a filling gun in the hot season during which the outside temperature rapidly rises, so that the pressure in the main bombe becomes lower than the filling pressure.
Electronic pressure gauge for pressurized system with variable outlet flows
A pressure gauge system for a tank with a variable flow rate that provides a user with an indication of how much usable time is left in a pressurized gas tank given a particular selected flow rate or operational condition and what pressure of gas is left in the tank.
METHOD AND INSTALLATION FOR STORING AND DISPENSING LIQUEFIED HYDROGEN
Installation and method for storing and dispensing liquefied hydrogen involving a source of gaseous hydrogen, a liquefier, and two storage reservoirs for liquid hydrogen at determined respective storage pressures, wherein the liquefier includes an inlet connected to the source and an outlet connected in parallel, via a set of valves, to a respective inlet of each storage reservoir.
Fuel gas filling system and fuel gas filling method
A fuel gas filling system detects at least one of a pressure of fuel gas supplied from a filling device and a temperature of the fuel gas in a fuel tank of a vehicle and determines whether or not there is a gas state fluctuation in which the pressure or temperature of the fuel gas suddenly changes. The fuel gas filling system executes either one of a first filling control of filling the fuel gas into the vehicle on the basis of at least one of the fuel gas pressure and the fuel gas temperature and a second filling control according to the gas state fluctuation. This system executes the first filling control in normal time and executes the second filling control of filling the fuel gas without using a fuel gas pressure detected by fuel gas state detection unit or the second filling control of filling the fuel gas without using a fuel gas temperature detected by the fuel gas state detection unit when it is determined by gas state fluctuation determination unit that there is the gas state fluctuation.
Monitoring apparatus for pressure vessels
The present invention provides a monitoring apparatus for an outlet of a vessel storing gas under pressure. The monitoring apparatus comprises a flow control valve movable to a position between a fully open position and a fully closed position to adjust a flow of gas from the outlet of the vessel, a valve position detector connected to the flow control valve to detect the position of the flow control valve, an internal pressure sensor to sense an internal pressure P.sub.int(t) of the gas in the vessel at different times, a processor, a memory and an alarm. The processor calculates an actual rate of change in pressure dP.sub.int/dt of the gas in the vessel over time, and compares dP.sub.int/dt with an expected rate of change.
