The hydrogen filling apparatus (100) of the present invention includes: a plurality of filling systems; a filling control device (10, 20) for each of the filling systems; a filling pipe communicating with a rear facility in each of the filling systems; a set of filling members (for example, flow control valves, flow meters) interposed in each of the filling pipes and connected to each of the filling control devices; and a filling hose connected to each of the filling pipes, each filling hose having a filling nozzle at a tip; wherein one of the plurality of filling control devices has a function of selectively exerting a first control mode that controls only the filling system including the filling control device and a second control mode shared as a control device for the plurality of filling systems, and a switching means for switching between the first control mode and the second control mode in the one of the filling control devices is provided.
METHOD FOR MINIMIZING POWER DEMAND FOR HYDROGEN REFUELING STATION
A direct fueling station and a method of refueling are provided. The station includes an insulated tank for storing a liquefied fuel, a pump, at least a heat exchanger, a control unit, a dispenser including a flow meter, a flow control device, and at least one sensor for testing pressure and/or temperature. The heat exchanger converts liquefied fuel from pump into a gaseous fuel, which is added into an onboard fuel tank in a vehicle. The control unit includes one or more programs used to coordinate with the pump, the flow meter, the flow control device, and/or the sensor(s) so as to control a refueling method. A peak electrical power requirement is less than that determined by the product of a rated volumetric flow rate of the pump and a rated pumping pressure adequate for a fill pressure of the vehicle. A computer implemented system having the program(s) is also provided.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FILLING TANK
A system and a method for filling a tank are provided. The tank filling system includes tanks that are filled with predetermined fluid and a manifold that is coupled to each of the plurality of tanks in a communication manner. A first flow passage is connected to a first inlet of the manifold to supply the fluid to be filled into the plurality of tanks to the manifold and a second flow passage is connected to a second inlet of the manifold spaced apart from the first inlet of the manifold by a predetermined distance to supply the fluid to be filled into the plurality of tanks to the manifold. A controller opens and closes the first flow passage and the second flow passage.
COMPRESSED NATURAL GAS (CNG) POWER SYSTEM WITH C02 EMISSIONS CAPTURE AND STORAGE
CNG power system (1) comprising a storage tank (6) connected fluidically to a fuel conversion system (2) via an energy transfer system (4), the fuel conversion system (2) comprising a power unit using CNG as fuel and generating gas emissions comprising CO2, the fuel conversion system comprising a CO2 capture unit (16) configured for separating out CO2 from the gas emissions. The energy transfer system comprises a CNG expansion turbine (22) mounted in a fuel circuit (8) between the storage tank and fuel conversion system powered by expansion of the CNG flowing from the storage tank to the fuel conversion system, and a CO2 compressor (24) connected between the fuel conversion system and the storage tank along a CO2 circuit (10) for compressing the CO2, power for driving the CO2 compressor (24) being supplied in part by power generated by the CNG expansion turbine (22).
Curve-combined square pressure tank
The present invention relates to a curve-combined square pressure tank with which curves are combined so as to maintain internal high pressure, improve space efficiency, and reduce the weight thereof, and to a pressure tank, in which planes and curves are combined, formed by connecting flat plate members and curved members, having a plurality of aligned tension members for connecting the flat plate members facing each other, and having stress buffer parts formed at connection parts of the flat plate members and the curved members so as to enable internal pressure to be maintained.
FILLING STATION FOR SUPPLYING A PLURALITY OF VEHICLES WITH A GAS CONTAINING HYDROGEN
A filling station for supplying vehicles with gas containing hydrogen comprises: a storage unit comprising high pressure gas containers; a compression unit comprising compressors for increasing the pressure of gas for the storage unit; and a supply unit comprising a supply device for supplying a vehicle; a storage circuit for circulating gas from the compression unit to the storage unit; and a filling circuit for circulating gas from the storage unit to the compression unit. The storage circuit comprises a storage pipe network connecting each compressor to each container and at least one storage distributor for selectively associating the compressors and the containers. The filling circuit includes a filling pipe network connecting each container with each compressor and a filling distributor for selectively associating the containers and the compressors. The station further includes control means for controlling the storage and filling distributors.
