A refuelling assistance device that determines one of the following scenarios: (a) that consecutive refuelling operations of a first vehicle at corresponding different fuel stations have taken place without a communication link, and (b) that consecutive refuelling operations at a first fuel station for corresponding different vehicles have taken place without the communication link. In response to determining scenario (a), the control unit causes a communication module of the first vehicle to be checked for establishment of the communication link. In response to determining scenario (b), the control unit causes a communication module of the first fuel station to be checked for establishment of the communication link.

A check valve is connected in series onto the gas charging runner, and the check valve and a solenoid valve are connected in series sequentially onto the gas supplying runner in a gas flow direction. A portion of the gas supplying runner located downstream of the solenoid valve is jointly connected to a portion of the gas charging runner adjacent to a gas inlet end and supplies gas to outside through a gas inlet of the gas charging runner when the gas supplying runner supplies gas. The gas cylinder valve further includes a flow-blocking buffer structure connected in series onto the gas supplying runner and located downstream of the solenoid valve and upstream of an intersection of the gas supplying runner and the gas charging runner.

COMPOSITE PRESSURE VESSEL WITH REINFORCEMENT ELEMENT

A reinforcement element, suitable for composite pressure vessel, may be configured to be inserted and to fill in a hollow shaft of a plastic liner of the composite pressure vessel, the hollow shaft connecting opposite walls of the liner. The reinforcement element may include a central part and two external parts constituted by a plurality of continuous fibres impregnated with a first resin. The central part of the reinforcement element may have a dimension substantially equal to the dimension of the hollow shaft and being a full part. The two external parts may be able to be unfolded and fixed on the external surface of opposite walls of the liner. A composite pressure vessel may include such a reinforcement element.

Compressed natural gas vehicle safety system and method

A multiply-redundant system that prevents a driver from starting and/or moving a vehicle if a compressed natural gas fill system is not correctly and completely disconnected from the vehicle. One or more sensors in combination with one or more optional microswitches combine to lock-out the vehicle's ignition or otherwise prevent it from starting and/or moving. For different levels of safety, different combinations of sensors can be used with the lowest level having a single proximity sensor sensing the presence or absence of a high-pressure fill hose. The highest level of safety being achieved by having separate proximity sensors on the fuel fill hose fitting, the gas cap cover and a manual safety valve along with a redundant microswitch. An optional override that may be restricted as to the number of times it can be used can allow starting with a faulty sensor in order to allow maintenance.

Internal casing for pressurized fluid storage tank for a motor vehicle

An internal casing for a pressurized fluid storage tank for a motor vehicle includes: a hollow body includes a layer made of a first polymer material; and a neck arranged on the hollow body and delimiting an opening of the hollow body, the neck receiving an interface part mounted on the neck in a sealed manner by a gasket arranged between the neck and the interface part. The neck is made of a composite material composed of a second polymer material loaded with reinforcing fibers, the composite material having a deformation resistance than that of the first polymer material. The neck is joined to the hollow body by molecular entanglement of polymer chains of the first polymer material and polymer chains of the second polymer material. Methods for manufacturing such an internal casing, and a storage tank including such an internal casing are disclosed.

A STORAGE VESSEL COMPRISING A ONE-PIECE SHAPED BODY OF A POROUS SOLID

The invention is related to a storage vessel (1) comprising a shaped body (3) of a porous solid, wherein the storage vessel (1) comprises a wall (5) with a section (7) comprising at least one inlet (9), wherein the storage vessel (1) has a central axis (11) and the central axis (11) is a longitudinal axis of the storage vessel (1) and/or perpendicular to a cross-sectional area of the at least one inlet (9), wherein the shaped body (3) covers at least 85% of an inner volume (13) of the storage vessel (1) and the shaped body (3) comprises an opening (19) in an axial direction (17), axial referring to the central axis (11) of the storage vessel (1), wherein the opening (19) extends from a first end (21) of the shaped body (3) to an opposing second end (23) of the shaped body (3) and wherein the storage vessel (1) comprises exactly one shaped body (3), which is formed in one piece. The invention is further related to a shaped body and use of the shaped body.

HYDROGEN STATION

[Object] To enable a gas supply system to be easily transported and to increase a degree of freedom when the gas supply system is installed.

[Solution] A hydrogen station includes: a filling facility for filling a tank-mounted device with a gas; and a gas supply system for supplying the gas to the filling facility. The gas supply system includes: a compressor for compressing the gas; a compressor accommodating body for accommodating the compressor; a refrigerator for cooling the gas flowed into the filling facility or the gas just before being flowed into the filling facility, the refrigerator including an evaporation part, an expansion part, and a compression part; and a cooler accommodating body for accommodating the evaporation part, the expansion part, and the compression part. The compressor accommodating body and the cooler accommodating body are detachable from each other.

Pressure-resistant container

Provided is a pressure-resistant container that allows a time required for winding a fiber-reinforced member on both a tubular barrel portion and dome portions of a container body to be shortened. A pressure-resistant container includes: a container body having a tubular barrel portion, and dome portions that are provided integrally on both end portions, respectively, in an axial direction, of the tubular barrel portion; and a fiber-reinforced member that covers an outer surface of the container body. The fiber-reinforced member includes a first fiber sheet that is formed from fibers oriented in one direction, and that has a fiber direction in which the fibers extend such that the fiber direction is tilted relative to the axial direction of the container body at such an angle as to cover both the dome portions, on both sides in the axial direction, of the container body. The first fiber sheet has a sheet body portion formed in a sheet-like shape, and a plurality of protruding portions that are aligned on and protrude from both end portions, in a fiber direction, of the sheet body portion. The sheet body portion is wound along an outer surface of the tubular barrel portion to cover the tubular barrel portion. The protruding portions are wound back along outer surfaces of the dome portions to cover the dome portions.
