VEHICULAR LIGHTING USING PASSIVE AND/OR ACTIVE OPTICS
A reflector unit may behave as a retroreflector to reflect light of a selected color. The reflector unit may comprise a first reflector having a first color, a second reflector having a second color, and a mask that either allows incoming light to reach the first reflector and not the second reflector or allows incoming light to reach the second reflector and not the first reflector. An active light unit may emit light of a particular color in response to receiving light. In this fashion, the active light unit may simulate the operation of a reflector. The reflector unit and the active light unit may operate on a bi-directional vehicle.
Vehicle lamp having dipped and main beam headlight switching structure
The vehicle lamp having a dipped and main beam headlight switching structure includes a heat-dissipating device, an LED light source, an electromagnet, a light-reflecting assembly, a lens assembly, a light-shaping plate and a driving rod. The LED light source and the electromagnet are disposed on the heat-dissipating device. The light-shaping plate is rotatably disposed above the electromagnet. The driving rod is disposed between the electromagnet and the light-shaping plate. The electromagnet is configured to drive the driving rod to move the light-shaping plate to the first position or the second position, so as to change the reflected light to form near light or far light. An empty space is formed between the lens assembly and the heat-dissipating device for accommodating components.

Vehicle headlight assembly and a corresponding lamp
The present invention provides a lamp for a horizontal operating position within a vehicle headlight assembly. The lamp, as seen with respect to the vehicle, comprises a LED light source for emitting light mainly to one side, and a reflective member for shielding front and lower parts of the light emitted by the LED light source and reflecting them to desired directions. The present invention also provides a vehicle headlight assembly comprising such a lamp, and, further, a reflector for shaping the light emitted by the LED light source into a beam, and a shuttle, adjustable between positions to shape the beam into a high beam or a low beam.

Smart headlight
A smart headlight includes a headlight mount, a main light source, a lens and a light-shielding structure. The main light source is disposed on the headlight mount. The lens is connected to the headlight mount and corresponds in position to the main light source. The light shielding structure is disposed on the headlight mount and arranged between the main light source and the lens. The light shielding structure includes a first light-shielding plate and a second light-shielding plate. The first light-shielding plate is configured to reciprocally move between an upright position and a reclined position, such that a top portion of the second light-shielding plate can be covered by or exposed from the first light-shielding plate.

Illumination Device for Vehicle Headlamp
An illumination device for a vehicle headlamp that provides headlamp levelling. The illumination device includes a primary light module configured to emit light in a main direction, wherein the primary light module is rotatable around a rotation axis; a moveable shield cover for shielding the primary light module; and a motion device for moving simultaneously the primary light module around the rotation axis and the shield cover with respect to each other between (a) non-illuminating positions, wherein the shield cover is in front of the primary light module, and (b) illuminating positions, wherein the shield cover is moved away from the light path of the light module. In each illuminating position, the primary light module is in a defined angular position of a determined operating angular range around the rotation axis to project the light distribution in different angular positions in front of the illumination device for headlamp levelling.
