VEHICLE LIGHTING STRUCTURE
A first lamp assembly has a first side surface with a first light passage and a hollow interior with a first light dispersing member disposed therein. The first light dispersing member is positioned to receive light emitted through the first light passage and emit light received via the first light passage. The second lamp assembly has a hollow interior with a first lighting device disposed therein, and a second side surface with a second light passage. The first lighting device is positioned to emit light through the second light passage, such that when the second light passage and the first light passage are adjacent to one another with the first and second light passages being aligned, and with the first lighting device operating, the first lighting device emits light through the second light passage into the second light passage illuminating the first light dispersing member within the first lamp assembly.

A light module comprising a means for supporting at least one collector of light rays in the vicinity of which there is a light guide suitable for guiding the rays emitted by a light source from an input face to at least two distinct and adjacent output faces. A distinction is made between a main output face, through which the rays pass in a first direction, and at least one additional output face which is oriented such that the light rays leaving the guide through this additional output face are directed toward the collector, in a second direction distinct from the first direction.

In a lighting device for a vehicle, a light guide assembly (10) for guiding the light emitted by a light source comprises a head portion (12) with decoupling elements (18) for decoupling at least some of the coupled-in light, and also a feed line portion (11), which comprises a coupling-in region (15) for the coupling-in of light from a light source and by means of which light coupled in in this way is fed to the head portion (12). The coupling-in region (15) has a first securing arrangement (13) with at least one element protruding transversely to the longitudinal axis of the coupling-in region (15), for example a pin, by means of which the coupling-in region (15) is insertable into a first securing location in the lighting device and lockable there. The head portion (12) has a second securing arrangement (14) for securing the head portion (12) in the lighting device.

The present disclosure provides a light source assembly for a vehicle lamp, a method for producing a light source assembly, and a signal lamp for an automobile vehicle. The light source assembly for a vehicle lamp includes: a base body; at least one metal holding member, each of which includes a light source holding part and one or more penetration parts, the light source holding part being arranged on a first surface of the base body, the penetration part penetrating through the base body from the first surface of the base body and extending outwardly from a second surface of the base body, the second surface being opposite to the first surface; and a light emitting component mounted on the light source holding part of the at least one metal holding member.

A light guide, and a vehicle lamp and motor vehicle including the light guide, which is configured to be installed in an opening defined by a lamp frame of a vehicle lamp. The light guide includes an elongated body, the body having a light exit segment for guiding light from a light source to exit in a target direction, the light exit segment including a bend segment. The light guide further includes a wing-like part, the wing-like part being at least connected to the bend segment and being configured to fill a gap between the bend segment and an edge of the opening.

A light module for illuminating an outer component of a vehicle, including: a housing for fastening the light module to the vehicle; a cover mounted on the housing; an inner space delimited between the housing and the cover; a printed circuit board in the inner space; a light source on the printed circuit board and configured for emitting an illumination beam-; and a light guide in the housing facing the light source and extending outside the inner space for guiding the illumination beam along the outer component. The light guide includes an optical fiber extending outside the inner space and a lens positioned between the light source and an entry opening of the optical fiber, such that the illumination beam emitted by the light source is focalized toward the entry opening of the optical fiber. A process for manufacturing such light module is also described.

A light module for illuminating an outer component of a vehicle, including: a housing for fastening the light module to the vehicle; a cover mounted on the housing; an inner space delimited between the housing and the cover; a printed circuit board in the inner space; a light source on the printed circuit board and configured for emitting an illumination beam-; and a light guide in the housing facing the light source and extending outside the inner space for guiding the illumination beam along the outer component. The light guide includes an optical fiber extending outside the inner space and a lens positioned between the light source and an entry opening of the optical fiber, such that the illumination beam emitted by the light source is focalized toward the entry opening of the optical fiber. A process for manufacturing such light module is also described.

A lighting device (10) for vehicle headlamps, comprising: —at least one light source (50), —a light guide (200) comprising an end section (210) with a light entry surface, —a light guide adapter (300) configured to secure the end section (210) and to hold the light entry surface in a position with regard to the light source (50), the light guide adapter (300) comprises a base-section (310) and a securing-section (320), and —a support frame (400), on which the light guide adapter (300) is mounted, wherein the securing-section (320) comprises a first engaging-element (320a), the base-section (310) comprises a first fastening-opening (311), the support frame (400) comprises a mounting-opening (410) for the securing-section (320) of the light guide adapter (300) and a second fastening-opening (411), wherein the mounting-opening (410) having a second engaging-element (410a) corresponding to the first engaging- element (320a), wherein the light guide adapter (300) can be brought into an end position (P2) by inserting the securing-section (320) into the mounting-opening (410), such that the first engaging-element (320a) engages with the second engaging-element (410a), wherein the first fastening-opening (311) and the second fastening-opening (411) are overlapped, so that the first and second fastening-opening (311, 411) can receive a fastening-element (110).
Optical imaging system
An optical imaging system (100) including an elongated lightguide (105) having pluralities of first and second light extractors (110) forming respective first and second patterns along the length of the lightguide is described. Light extracted by the first light extractors exit the lightguide primarily along a first direction toward a target location (150), and light extracted by the second light extractors exit the lightguide primarily along a second direction different from the first direction. The optical imaging system includes a first reflector (114) for receiving light exiting the lightguide primarily along the second direction and reflecting the received light toward the target location. The first reflector forms a first virtual image (132) of the second pattern behind the first reflector. The first pattern and the first virtual image are visible to a viewer (152) viewing the optical imaging system from the target location.
