Various embodiments of the present invention provide a light emitting diode (LED) lighting fixture and methods of installing the same. In various embodiments, an LED lighting fixture may comprise: at least one socket comprising a socket opening; at least one LED positioned substantially within the socket opening; at least one shield member positioned adjacent the at least one socket such that the shield substantially encloses the socket opening; at least one decorative light shade; at least one cover comprising a neck portion having an internal surface, the internal surface defining a cover opening. The cover opening is configured to receive there-through at least a portion of a socket and substantially engage the socket. At least a portion of the cover is configured to substantially engage the decorative light shade. Also, at least a portion of the cover is configured to substantially enclose the LED and shield.

Light Bulb

A light bulb includes a housing, an illuminating component, a driving circuit board, a light transmitting component and a lens. The housing has a circumferential opening and a cavity chamber therein. The illuminating component is disposed within the cavity chamber. The driving circuit board is disposed inside the cavity chamber. The driving circuit board is also electrically coupled to the illuminating component. In addition, the driving circuit board drives the illuminating component while being powered up. The light transmitting component is disposed within the cavity chamber and affixed to the illuminating component. The light transmitting component includes a plurality of transmitting microstructures on its surface that uniformly distribute lights emitted from the illuminating component along an axial direction of the light bulb. The lens is disposed within the cavity chamber. The lens also focuses the uniformly distributed lights on a predetermined range along the axial direction of the light bulb.

A lighting fixture includes a housing, a light source, an optics array, and control circuitry. The housing includes an opening through which light is provided from the lighting fixture towards an area of interest. The light source is in the housing and includes a number of solid-state light sources. The optics array is also in the housing and includes a number of optics. Each optic in the optics array is configured to focus light from each one of the light sources into a number of beams of light such that each one of the beams of light is provided through the opening of the housing at a different angle. The control circuitry is configured to selectively illuminate the number of solid-state lighting sources such that a direction of light provided by the lighting fixture dynamically changes over time.

Troffer light fixture

A light fixture with a troffer design. The light fixture includes a housing, LED assembly, and lens assembly. An inner lens can be positioned over the LED assembly to control the distribution of light. A reflector can be positioned over the LED assembly instead of the inner lens to control the light.

A light emitting device (LED-Filament) comprises: a light-transmissive substrate; at least one blue LED chip mounted on the light-transmissive substrate, for instance mounted on a face thereof; and a photoluminescence material at least partially covering the at least one blue LED chip. The photoluminescence material comprises narrow-band red phosphor particles that generates light with a peak emission wavelength in a range of 600 nm to 640 nm and a full width at half maximum emission intensity of 50 nm to 60 nm. The light emitting device is characterized by CRI Ra greater than or equal to about 90. The narrow-band red phosphor particles can comprise at least one Group IIA/IIB selenide sulfide-based phosphor material such as for example CaSe.sub.1−xS.sub.x:Eu (CSS phosphor). The LED-filament can be incorporated in a lamp, with a yellow to green-emitting phosphor that generates light with a peak emission wavelength in a range of 520 nm to 570 nm, to provide light with a color temperature in a range of 1500 K to 4000 K or 1500 K to 6500 K and a General Color Rendering Index (CRI Ra) greater than or equal to about 90 and a CRI R9 greater than or equal to about 50.

A body, such as a lamp body, includes a tubular element. At least one conductor is introduced into the tubular element and a glass material surrounds the conductor. The glass material forms a seal between the tubular element and the conductor. The glass material includes a sintered glass, such as a sintered glass ring, and may completely surround the conductor.
