A configurable security light is described. The configurable security light may include a first and a second separable lamp head, each of which may include both an upper illumination segment and a lower illumination segment. The lower illumination segment may be affixed to the upper illumination segment through a multi-axis hinge so that the lower illumination segment may be redirected to a secondary light output direction as compared to a primary light output direction of the upper illumination segment.

An LED projection night light for night time or dark area use includes a plug-in wall outlet night light or direct current operated night light with projection features to project an image, message, data, logo, or time on a ceiling, walls, floor, or other desired surface. A light fixture for a perimeter security fence is adjustable for establishing a distance from the fence line where a blinding glare zone begins. The light fixture includes an elongated pipe having a lower pipe section, an upper pipe section, and an articulating joint coupling a lower end of the upper pipe section with an upper end of the lower pipe section for enabling the upper and lower pipe sections to articulate relative to one another. The light fixture is secured to a post of the perimeter security fence. The light fixture has a glare shroud secured to the upper end of the rigid upper pipe section. The glare shroud has an underside that faces toward the ground. One or more LEDs are secured to the underside of the glare shroud. Each LED has an optical lens passing light having a beam angle of 137-156 degrees.

A mounting system for suspending luminaires from a mounting surface with a cord. In some embodiments, the cord houses both the cable for supporting the luminaire in a suspended orientation as well as the electrical wires or connectors for electrically connecting the luminaire to a power source. In some embodiments, the mounting system is designed to ensure that the cable bears the entire weight of the luminaire and that the connectors bear no weight of the luminaire. The mounting system can include a pan that is mounted to the mounting surface and a rotatable joint positioned within the pan. The cord is attached to the rotatable joint. Rotation of the rotatable joint within the pan enables the cord to extend at nadir regardless of the angle of the mounting surface and without kinking of the cord.

The light fixture has a glare shroud secured to the upper end of the rigid upper pipe section, the glare shroud having a reflective concave surface that forms an underside of the glare shroud that faces toward the junction box, and one or more LEDs secured to the reflective concave surface of the glare shroud, whereby each LED has an optical lens configured to pass light having a beam angle of 137-156 degrees.

A portable neck light for wearing on a user's neck is disclosed having a neck member adapted to fit around a user's neck, body members on each side of the neck member having a light source, a movable member between each end of the neck member and each body member allowing for the adjustment of each light source independently of the other, a power source and an on/off switch.

A lighting apparatus for a ceiling or wall includes a mount having a hollow shaft whose top extends into the wall or ceiling when in place, and a flange that extends from the shaft adjacent the bottom of the shaft. Embodiments of a customizable illumination system are disclosed. The illumination system may include a bracket, a light source, and a power module. Various embodiments of each of these elements can be used in conjunction with the illumination system to affect a desired degree of customization.
