Veterinary lighting apparatus
A veterinary lighting apparatus comprising: a heat sink on which are supported a plurality of LEDs for emitting light radiation, wherein the plurality of LEDs comprises at least one white light LED-emitter; at least one blue light LED-emitter; and at least one red light LED-emitter; and an activation means to switch on one or more of the white and/or blue and/or red light LED-emitters.
PHOTOCONVERSION DEVICE AND ILLUMINATION SYSTEM
A photoconversion device includes a holder, a wavelength converter, and an optical element. The holder holds an output portion that outputs excitation light. The wavelength converter includes an incident surface section including a protruding surface to receive the excitation light from the output portion and emits fluorescence in response to the excitation light incident on the incident surface section. The optical element includes a focal point surrounded by the incident surface to direct the fluorescence emitted by the wavelength converter in a predetermined direction.
Full-cutoff LED luminaire with front-pivot power door and heat sink with refractor mounting
The present disclosure provides an LED luminaire capable of providing full cutoff illumination in a base configuration, without the addition of reflectors or refractors. The LED luminaire is also interchangeably couplable to one or more different reflectors and refractors. In certain example embodiments, the present disclosure provides a dusk to dawn luminaire operable as a full cutoff luminaire in a base configuration and which is also compatible with an American Nation Standards Institute (ANSI) dusk to dawn reflector/refractor assembly. In an example embodiment, the LED luminaire also includes a housing with a front pivoting door configured to swing away from a mounting structure when opened.

Lighting device using short thermal path cooling technology and other device cooling by placing selected openings on heat sinks
A novel heat sinking technology, uniquely adaptive to LED lighting devices in a generally LED array format containing multiple openings on said heat sink's base portions and optionally fin portions providing “short path cooling” technology. The “short path cooling” technology is thoroughly taught with multiple examples. Also taught, are methods of heat sink area maintenance when said openings are placed on said heat sinks. Indeed, even surface area increases are shown to be possible when multiple openings are placed on said heat sinks. Lastly, other non-LED semiconductor cooling is discussed and illustrated in various figures using said “short path cooling” technology.
