Gas inlet fixture and air shutter
A burner assembly including a gas inlet fixture for use with a burner tube, the gas inlet fixture including a plurality of tabs to engage a neck of a gas control valve to improve ignition and center the gas flow down the center of the burner tube.
Burner
The present application relates to a burner for a shaft melting furnace, in particular for a copper shaft melting furnace, comprising a first chamber with an inlet opening, via which an oxygen-containing gas can be supplied to the burner, and an outlet opening, which is arranged at a distal end of a conically tapering sub-portion of the first chamber; a second chamber, which is connected to the conical sub-portion of the first chamber and which has a burner nozzle; a combustion gas line, which opens into the first chamber and via which a combustion gas can be supplied to the burner; and a mixing nozzle, which is arranged in the outlet opening of the first chamber and which has a mixing chamber via which the oxygen-containing gas and the combustion gas can be mixed to form a combustion gas mixture.
SYSTEMS AND APPARATUS FOR MONITORING REFUSE IN A SET OF RECEPTICALS
An apparatus for measuring the distance between a first sensor and a surface in a refuse container is disclosed. The apparatus includes a first transmitter, the first transmitter configured to transmit a first electromagnetic signal toward a set of surfaces at a first time; and, a first receiver coupled to the first transmitter, the first receiver configured to receive a first reflected electromagnetic signal from the set of surfaces at a second time. The apparatus further includes a distance calculating circuit coupled to the first receiver, the distance calculating circuit configured to calculate a first flight time period between the first time and the second time. The apparatus also includes a time-distance conversion circuit coupled to the distance calculating circuit, the time-distance conversion circuit configured to convert the first flight time period to a first distance; wherein a notification is generated if the first distance is less than a first threshold distance.
BURNER ASSEMBLY
In various implementations, a burner assembly may include a body coupled to burner heads. The body may include one or more converging and/or diverging parts. For example, the body may include a diverging part proximate one or more of the burner heads of the burner assembly. The body may allow a predetermined fuel/air ratio to be provided to the burner head, in some implementations.
Combustion apparatus
A combustion apparatus has a plurality of longitudinally elongated gas burners, each having a burner port on an upper end thereof. A damper is disposed to cover gas inlet ports on an upstream end of an air-fuel mixing tube portion of each of the gas burners. The damper has formed therein ventilation holes for limiting primary air. The ventilation holes overlap, and are smaller than, the gas inlet ports. The damper has #1 ventilation holes having obstacles against which the fuel gas to be ejected from the gas nozzles strike, and #2 ventilation holes without obstacles. Poor combustion such as flame lifting is restricted and combustion noises are reduced.
Fuel Feedstream Combustion System
A feedstream combustion device for combusting a fuel feedstream having one or more burners, where each burner comprises a mixer having a first mixer segment and a second mixer segment that mixes a first air intake of a first air feedstream and a fuel feedstream at a first mixer segment inlet end and mixes a second air intake of a second air feedstream with the first air feedstream and fuel feedstream in an annular space between the external surface of the first mixer segment and the internal surface of the second mixer segment.
METHOD FOR FLAME STRAIGHTENING AND BURNER ASSEMBLY FOR THIS PURPOSE
A method for flame straightening is disclosed, wherein acetylene with oxygen is combusted by means of a burner to yield a flame, and the flame is directed onto a workpiece so as to heat the workpiece, wherein an electric field is applied between the burner and the non-melting workpiece which is electrically conductive, or the electric field is applied between the burner and a non-melting electrode arranged on the non-melting workpiece side to reduce NOx emission.
Gas-burning appliance and gas fireplace
A gas-burning appliance includes a combustor and a flow guide device engaged with the combustor. The combustor has a gas outlet. The flow guide device includes a separator and two stop plates. The separator has an opening. Each of the stop plates is located at the opening, and a top edge thereof is higher than a top surface of the separator. The combustor is located below the separator with the gas outlet corresponding to a space between the stop plates. The flow guide device has at least one first air inlet, which is located below the separator, and communicates with the space between the stop plates. A gas fireplace includes a firebox, a translucent shield, and the gas-burning appliance. A separator divides the firebox into an air chamber, which receives the combustor, and a combustion chamber. Whereby, the visibility of flame and the combustion efficiency could be improved.
ADJUSTABLE GAS GRILL BURNER AND METHOD OF MAKING AND USING THE SAME
Adjustable gas grill burners are disclosed. Methods of making and using adjustable gas grill burners are also disclosed.
