A drying apparatus for a water damaged floor structure, comprising a suction blower for drawing wet process air from the floor structure, a sorption dehumidifier for receiving the process air from the suction blower and converting it to dry air, a common cover for the suction blower and the dehumidifier, and a PTC element for a sorption block in the dehumidifier. According to the invention, the suction blower is a side channel blower capable of heating the process air, and an additional blower is arranged between the suction blower and the sorption dehumidifier to increase the flow of the heated process air from the suction blower. In addition, the housing has a sound and heat insulation.

A humidifying unit that humidifies a target space includes: a casing including a first ventilation path through which air introduced from outside flows, and a second ventilation path through which air introduced from the outside flows; a moisture adsorbing material that adsorbs moisture in the air flowing through the first ventilation path, releases the moisture to the air flowing through the second ventilation path, and humidifies the air flowing through the second ventilation path; and a heater disposed in the casing and that heats the moisture adsorbing material, or the air flowing through the second ventilation path before humidification. At least a part of the casing is exposed to the target space.

DEHUMIDIFYING AIR HANDLING UNIT AND DESSICANT WHEEL THEREFOR

A dehumidifying air handling unit for an HVACR system includes a housing, a desiccant wheel, and a cooling heat exchanger. A main airflow path extending through the housing from an air inlet to and air discharged outlet of the housing. The desiccant wheel includes a first end and a second end that are each disposed in the main airflow path and a metal organic framework desiccant that is moved between the first end and the second end. A desiccant wheel includes a metal organic framework desiccant disposed on a surface of the desiccant wheel. Rotation of the desiccant wheel moves a position of the surface between a first end and a second end of the desiccant wheel. The metal organic framework desiccant has an majority absorption-desorption operating band of 25% relative humidity or less.

Desiccant cooling system

A desiccant cooling system includes a desiccant module mounted in a division plate to be rotatable and having a side mounted in a desiccant cooling path through which indoor air moves and another side mounted in a regeneration path through which outdoor air moves, a preliminary cooler mounted at an upstream of the desiccant module in the desiccant cooling path and configured to cool the indoor air flowing into the desiccant cooling path; and a main cooler mounted at a downstream of the desiccant module in the desiccant cooling path, and configured to cool the indoor air dehumidified by passing through the desiccant module and supply the cooled indoor air to an air-conditioning space, wherein a dew-point temperature of the indoor air dehumidified by passing through the side of the desiccant module is less than a temperature of the main cooler.
