Provided is a fin for register that can firmly fix a mounting member to a fin body. A horizontal fin includes a plate-shaped fin body and a mounting member mounted to a downstream side edge part of the fin body. The mounting member has a curved shape to cover the downstream side edge part of the fin body. The downstream side edge part includes a first recessed part at a tip part on a front side in a longitudinal direction. The first recessed part is formed by recessing the tip part of the downstream side edge part. The downstream side edge part and the mounting member are fixed to each other by an adhesive filled in the first recessed part.

Exhaust fan assembly having a system for automatically opening a damper in the event of a power failure
11353237 · 2022-06-07 · ·

An exhaust fan configured to exhaust air from a building includes a housing, a fan, and a motor for driving the fan. Overlying the fan is one or more dampers that are moveable from a closed position to an open position. Underlying the dampers is at least one pivot arm per damper that is pivotally connected to the fan and which normally assumes a horizontal position spaced from the overlying damper. A mechanical fusible link is connected to the pivot arm and is configured to break in response to a buildup of heat in and around the dampers. Once the fusible link breaks, then the pivot arm is operative to engage and open the overlying damper.

Air port component and air conditioner

The present disclosure relates to an air port component and an air conditioner, wherein the air port component includes a first plate body and a second plate body, wherein two longitudinal ends of the first plate body and the second plate body are elastically connected respectively. When the working environment temperature difference is relatively large, even if the difference between the linear expansion coefficients of materials used by the two plate bodies is relatively large, extension or shrinkage generated between the plate bodies due to temperature changes is be compensated by the elastic connection so as to reduce the degree of plastic deformation of the plate bodies due to temperature changes after being used for a period of time, thereby improving the reliability of the operation of the air port component, preventing blockage during the operation, as well as ensuring that the airflow of the air outlet meets the design requirements to prevent condensation due to local overcooling.

Wall vent door assembly

A wall vent door assembly including a multi-functional hinge including flexible and resilient material extending continuously along the hinge edge of the door; one edge of the door is configured to accept and/or otherwise interface with a complimentary edge of the hinge material, and the adjacent hinge edge of the mounting frame is configured to accept and/or otherwise interface with another complimentary edge of the hinge material. Besides providing the hinge connection between the door and the adjacent frame, the flexible material also seals the interface to prevent entry of light and wind when the door is closed. The flexible and resilient hinge material also acts as a spring, exerting force to assist in the movement of the door from the closed position to open positions.

DAMPER FOR HVAC SYSTEM

A damper assembly includes a frame, a damper blade coupled to the frame and configured to transition between an open position and a closed position, and a latch configured to be secured within the damper assembly via a clip portion of the latch. The latch is configured to deform to facilitate transitioning of the damper blade from the open position to the closed position and then to expand to capture and retain the damper blade in the closed position.

DAMPER WITH SPRING THRUST BEARING AND FLUSH END CAP

A damper of a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system includes a damper blade having a blade body with a hollow portion extending to an end of the blade body. The damper also includes an axle defining an axis about which the damper blade is configured to rotate, where the axle extends from the end of the blade body. The damper also includes a spring thrust bearing having a spring thrust bearing opening through which the axle extends. The spring thrust bearing is configured to support an axial load of the damper blade. The damper also includes an end cap disposed within the hollow portion of the blade body such that the end cap is flush with the end of the blade body.

Make-up air flow restrictor for a packaged terminal air conditioner unit

A packaged terminal air conditioner unit (PTAC) includes an auxiliary fan configured for urging a flow of make-up air from the outdoor portion into the indoor portion through a vent aperture defined by a bulkhead. A vent door is pivotally mounted over the vent aperture and a flow restrictor extends into the flow of make-up air, the flow restrictor being movable in correlation to a flow rate of the flow of make-up air to increase the flow restriction at higher flow rates of make-up air.

AIR DUCT DAMPER

An air damper assembly for an air duct having an interior wall and an exterior wall is provided. The air damper assembly includes a damper plate having a periphery and multiple teeth spaced at least partially around and extending from the periphery. The multiple teeth vary in length from a maximum to a minimum over a span of approximately 90 degrees around the periphery. The air damper assembly further includes an axle assembly fixedly coupled to the damper plate and rotatably coupled to the air duct. Rotation of the axle assembly causes the damper plate to rotate within the air duct between a fully open position and a fully closed position to increase or decrease a flow of fluid through the air duct.

Venting valve
11807073 · 2023-11-07 · ·

A venting valve for venting the interior of a vehicle includes a housing having at least one passage opening, and at least one venting flap which is mounted on the housing by a pivot mounting so as to be pivotable between a closed position and an open position. In the closed position, the at least one venting flap closes off the at least one passage opening and, in the open position, opens up the at least one passage opening for an air stream from the interior of the vehicle to the outside. The pivot mounting is arranged on an inner side of the housing, which inner side, in the assembled or installed state, faces the interior of the vehicle.
