AIR VENT
The invention relates to an air vent including a housing; plural louvers extending horizontally or vertically, pivotably arranged in the housing and aligned relative to an air outlet opening arranged in the housing, wherein the plural louvers are controllable jointly with an identical orientation by a pivot movement from a starting position into a pivot position by an adjustment device for changing an air outflow direction from the air outlet opening, wherein the plural louvers are controllable by at least one actuation element made from a shape memory alloy to adjust a diffuse air flow independently from a control by the adjustment device.

Heat-actuated fire damper sealing apparatus
A heat activated sealing apparatus for closing and locking a plurality of ventilation damper blades of a ventilation framework includes a fire detection assembly for detecting a fire condition and an actuator. A damper closure assembly includes an axle in communication with the actuator of the fire detection assembly and operatively coupled to the plurality of dampers of the ventilation framework, the axle being selectively rotatable between a start configuration at which the plurality of ventilation dampers are at the open configuration and a deployed configuration at which the plurality of ventilation dampers are at the closed configuration. The damper closure assembly includes a locking assembly movable between an unlocked configuration allowing rotatable movement of the axle and a locked configuration not allowing rotatable movement of the axle. The locking assembly is movable to the locked configuration only when exposed to a predetermined amount of heat from the fire condition.

ROTARY APPARATUS
A rotary apparatus includes a motor, a plurality of gears including an output gear, and a housing accommodating the plurality of gears and the motor. The housing includes a first surface portion, a second surface portion facing the first surface portion and spaced apart from the first surface portion, and a sidewall portion provided at an outer peripheral portion of the first surface portion and the second surface portion and supporting the first surface portion and the second surface portion. One of the first surface portion and the second surface portion includes a vibration damping part opposing the output gear.
Wind direction adjustment mechanism, indoor unit of air-conditioning apparatus, and air-conditioning apparatus
A wind direction adjustment mechanism includes: a support plate having a holding protrusion; a fixed plate fixed to a surface portion of the support plate; a movable plate facing the surface portion of the support plate, and slidably held by the support plate; and a plurality of wind direction plates formed of an elastic material, and provided to extend between the fixed plate and the movable plate, wherein the movable plate has an angle holding portion into which the holding protrusion is inserted to maintain a sliding position of the movable plate, the angle holding portion includes a side wall portion and a plurality of partition wall portions, the side wall portion protruding in a direction opposite to a direction toward a portion where the support plate is disposed, thus forming a frame structure, the plurality of partition wall portions being formed in parallel, each of the plurality of partition wall portions is formed such that an angle adjustment portion and an angle restricting portion are integrally formed, the angle restricting portion coupling to the angle adjustment portion, and being formed to have a larger wall thickness than the angle adjustment portion, the movable plate is biased, by an elastic restoring force of the plurality of wind direction plates, in a direction opposite to a direction toward a portion where the fixed plate is disposed, the holding protrusion is disposed in a space surrounded by the plurality of partition wall portions and the side wall portion, and the angle restricting portion comes into contact with the holding protrusion.

Animal house ceiling vent bulb seal
A ceiling vent assembly has a frame and a pair of louvers pivotably mounted in the frame such that each of the louvers pivots between an open position and a closed position. Each of the louvers has a pivot end, wherein the pivot end of a first louver of the pair of louvers is located adjacent to but spaced apart from the pivot end of a second louver of the pair of louvers. The ceiling vent has a sealing mechanism positioned in the space between the first and second louvers so as to press on the pivot ends of the first and second louvers such that the sealing mechanism reduces the flow of air through the space. When the first and second louvers pivot between the open and closed positions, the pivot end of the first and second louvers slide relative the sealing mechanism.
