HOT WATER ENERGY CONSERVATION
The concepts relate to reducing energy loss associated with hot water systems. One example can monitor hot water use in a system. Upon completion of the hot water use, the example can recover some of the hot water from hot water lines into a water heater that heated the hot water. The method can also deliver the recovered hot water to the water heater in a manner that affects operation of a heating element of the water heater.
Boiler
A boiler, including: electrodes immersed in contained water, for heating thereof; and a separating circuit, for supplying electric power from an electric grid supply to the electrodes therethrough in an electric separated manner, thereby the water electrified by the electrodes is electrically separated from the electric grid supply, thereby providing safety.

Electrode water heater
An electrode water heater/steam generator is provided. The electrode water heater/steam generator comprises a housing for containing water therein. The housing has at least an opening for transmission of water therethrough. At least two electrodes are disposed inside the housing and secured thereto such that at least one of the electrodes is enabled to vibrate during provision of AC electrical power. Electrical circuitry connects at least one of the electrodes to a live wire of an AC electrical power supply and at least another of the electrodes to a neutral wire of the AC electrical power supply.
WASHER TANK
A washer tank according to an embodiment includes: a first container which stores a washer fluid and retains a temperature of the washer fluid; an inflow pipe through which the washer fluid flows into a storage space in the first container; an outflow pipe through which the washer fluid flows out of the first container from the storage space; and a heating portion which heats the washer fluid, in which all the inflow pipe, the outflow pipe, and the heating portion are disposed in a lower portion of the first container.
CE-CONTAINING MAGNESIUM ALLOY SACRIFICIAL ANODE AND PREPARATION METHOD AND USE THEREOF
A Ce-containing magnesium alloy sacrificial anode, a preparation method of the anode, an inner container assembly, and a water heater are provided. The magnesium alloy sacrificial anode includes a magnesium rod body made of a rare earth magnesium alloy material. The rare earth magnesium alloy material includes Mg, and 0.0009 to 3.5 mass percent of a rare earth element. The rare earth element is a Ce-containing cerium group rare earth element.
Plasma heating apparatus, system and method
A plasma heating apparatus including a boiler vessel for holding water to be heated, a cathode housed in the vessel, the cathode defining a watertight cathode chamber isolated from the water in the vessel, and, an anode housed in the cathode chamber, the anode including an internal passage for receiving a gas from outside of the vessel when the passage is connected to a gas supply, and wherein the anode is connectable to a power source for receiving power for generating a plasma in the cathode chamber. In another aspect, the present disclosure relates to a heat or power generating system or plant including the plasma heating apparatus.
Hot water storage tank and a diffuser
The present invention relates to a hot water storage tank (202, 302, 402, 502, 602, 702), defining a primly storage volume (204, 304, 404, 504, 604, 704), with at least one heat source (212, 312, 412, 512, 612, 712) positioned in and operable to directly heat water in the upper portion (207, 307, 407, 507, 607, 707) of the primary storage volume (204, 304, 404, 04, 604, 704), and a pump or other means (237, 337, 437, 537, 637) that draws water, from the lower portion (209, 309, 409, 509, 609, 709) of the tank into a heat transfer device (216, 316, 416, 516, 616, 716), situated in said upper portion (207, 307, 407, 507, 607, 707). The heat transfer device (216, 316, 416, 516, 616, 716) is configured to enable the transfer of heat from heated water in the upper portion (207, 307, 407, 507, 607, 707) to the drawn water prior to discharge into the water in the upper portion (207, 307, 407, 507, 607, 707).
Energy storage for PV water heater
A system for heating water includes a first tank containing water and a heater element for heating the water, a solar panel, a control circuit coupling the solar panel to the heater element, and a second tank. The control circuit couples power to the heater element in proportion to available sunlight. The maximum temperature of the water in the first tank is higher than the maximum temperature of the water in the second tank. Water is drawn from the system through the second tank.
