FLUID CONTAINER FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
The invention relates to a fluid container for a motor vehicle, having a container wall that bounds a storage volume for storing liquid with respect to an environment, a heating element that is arranged in the storage volume, and a housing, wherein the housing encloses the heating element in a liquid-tight manner with respect to the supply volume.
PTC LIQUID HEATING DEVICE
A PTC liquid heating device comprises a housing extending along a longitudinal axis and defining a liquid inlet and a liquid outlet. A PTC heating unit is inserted into the housing and extends along the longitudinal axis. The PTC heating unit includes a sleeve, a heat conductor and at least one PTC heating core. The heat conductor has a pair of metal profiles defining at least one chamber, the at least one chamber extending along the longitudinal axis to receive the at least one PTC heating core. The heat conductor is located in the sleeve and has a shape matching the sleeve. The PTC liquid heating device provides uniform and efficient heat transfer. In addition, the PTC liquid heating device has improved corrosion resistance and insulation properties, thereby prolonging the service life of the PTC liquid heating device.
Electrical heating device
An electrical heating device (1) includes a housing (2, 102) having a fluid inlet (3) for the intake of a fluid to be heated into the housing (2, 102) and having a fluid outlet (4) for the discharge of the fluid from the housing (2, 102). A flow channel (5) for the fluid is formed between the fluid inlet (3) and fluid outlet (4), and at least one heating instrument (6, 105, 205) extends into the flow channel (5) in the housing (2, 102). This heating instrument has a sleeve (7, 207) that surrounds an interior of the heating instrument (6, 105, 205) in a fluid-tight way. At least one heating element (8, 208) is arranged in the sleeve (7, 207), and at least one sensor element (9, 109, 209) is arranged in the sleeve (7, 207) for monitoring the temperature of the at least one heating element (8, 208).
Electric heating device
An electric heating device includes a casing which forms inlet and outlet openings for a fluid to be heated and a circulation chamber communicating with the inlet and outlet openings, and into which at least one PTC heating element with at least one PTC element projects which is, for electrical contact, provided with contact strips which are exposed in a connection chamber which is separated from the circulation chamber by way a partition wall. The casing further forms a control chamber for accommodating a control device which, with regard to controlling, is coupled to the at least one PTC heating element. An integrally formed casing base member, made of a plastic material, forms the partition wall and walls which circumferentially surround the circulation chamber and the connection chamber.
Fluid-heating device
A fluid-heating device for heating fluid includes: a heater having a heat generating part, the heat generating part being configured to generate heat upon application of current; an electric component configured to control the application of the current to the heater; a tank having an opening portion, the tank being configured to accommodate the heat generating part; a top-plate portion configured to close the opening portion of the tank, the top-plate portion being configured to form a fluid chamber through which the fluid flows; and a first communication port and a second communication port configured to allow the fluid to flow through the fluid chamber; wherein the electric component is provided on an outer side of the fluid chamber along the top-plate portion.
Electric heating device
A PTC heating element includes a heating element casing that fits, as a structural unit, at least one PTC element and contact plates that energize the PTC element and that form contact strips for an electrical plug connection in order to electrically connect electrodes that are electrically connected to the PTC element. The PTC element is covered with an insulation layer at least on one of its two main side surfaces. In order to provide such a heating element casing that is inexpensive to produce and of a light-weight configuration, the PTC heating element comprises an injection-molded plastic frame which encloses the insulation layer only at the edge and which defines oppositely disposed frame openings, behind which the PTC element with its main side surfaces is located.
PTC Heating Element And Electrical Heating Device With Such A PTC Heating Element
A PTC heating element comprises at least one PTC element and two conductor paths which are assigned to different polarities and which are electrically conductively connected to the PTC element and are provided with connection elements for the electrical connection of the PTC element. The PTC heating element has improved heat discharge due to the provision of an electromagnetic shielding which is formed from a fluid-permeable metal structure and which surrounds the PTC element and the conductor paths.
Electric heating device and PTC heating element of an electric heating device
An electric heating device a PTC heating element, a platelet-type PTC element which has two main side surfaces and face side surfaces extending perpendicular to the main side surfaces, and a casing. The casing forms inlet and outlet openings for the fluid to be heated and forms a circulation chamber in which a heat emitting surface of the PTC heating element is exposed and is coupled in a heat conductive manner to the PTC element. The PTC element is contacted in an electrically conductive manner by way of electrical conductor tracks to different polarities. A high degree of efficiency and a high output is obtained in that the conductor tracks are contacted in an electrically conductive manner to face side surfaces of the PTC element.
Control Device and Electric Heating Device Comprising the Same
A control device and electric heating device having such a control device are disclosed. The control device has a control housing which surrounds a printed circuit board, which has a partition wall provided with a cooling element, and which accommodates at least one power switch that makes contact with the printed circuit board and that is applied in a heat-conducting manner against the cooling element via a hold-down device. The power switch and the hold-down device are realized in a pre-assembled module connected to the cooling element.
Fluid-heating device and manufacturing method thereof
A fluid-heating device for heating fluid with a heater includes: a heating portion that is molded so as to cover the surrounding of the heater; and a support body integrally cast into the heating portion, the heating portion being molded in a state in which the heater is supported by the support body in a die for molding the heating portion.
