The vibration-proof spring includes a cylindrical spring body, spring parts, which are integrally formed with a side wall of the spring body and are supported by the spring body in a cantilevered manner, and bulging portions, which are formed, on surfaces of the spring parts facing the shaft, in a protruding manner. The spring body is formed as a cylindrical body such that a plate-like body, which is obtained by punching a metallic plate through a press-forming process, is bent along a longitudinal direction of the plate-like body. Also, the spring body is formed in such a manner as to have edge parts that protrude radially outward from at least one of ends of the cylindrical body in the direction of axis line.

THERMAL SENSING BULB CONTAINING A BALLAST MATERIAL FOR AN EXPANSION VALVE

A thermal sensing bulb (102) for an expansion valve (104) in a refrigerant system, the bulb containing a ballast material (108), the ballast material including alumina. More particularly, the ballast material (108) includes alpha alumina, which may be in the form of a plurality of discrete particles having a desired surface area, particle size, and/or particle size distribution.

An improved expansion valve is provided, which has a simple configuration and with which noise can be reduced. An expansion valve includes a valve main body having a valve chamber and a valve seat, a valve body configured to prevent passage of a fluid by being seated on the valve seat and allow passage of the fluid by separating from the valve seat, a coil spring configured to urge the valve body toward the valve seat, and an actuation rod configured to press the valve body toward a direction separating from the valve seat against an urging force applied from the coil spring, wherein the valve chamber includes a cylindrical inner wall being connected to the valve seat, the valve body includes a contact portion configured to be seated on the valve seat and a body portion having a tubular shape facing the inner wall, and the body portion includes connecting surfaces that are slidably in contact with the inner wall and plane surfaces that have a gap provided between the inner wall.

Thermal expansion valve

A thermal expansion valve includes a power head and a valve body. The power head and the valve body are fixedly arranged. The power head includes a power head cover, a power head seat, and a membrane. The membrane includes a membrane recess and a corrugated portion. The membrane recess is located at the center position of the membrane. The corrugated portion is located at the peripheral position of the membrane recess. The membrane recess is recessed away from the power head cover. The valve body comprises a top portion. The top portion is provided with an opening. At least a part of the power head is extended into the opening. With an axial direction of the valve body as a projection direction, a projection of the power head towards the top portion falls on the top portion.

BULBLESS THERMAL EXPANSION VALVE

A bulbless expansion valve including a valve body, a valve member, a power element, and a thermal sensor including an enclosure operatively mounted to the valve body. The power element includes a diaphragm having a first side operatively coupled to the valve member, and a second side that together with the sensor enclosure forms at least part of a sensing chamber containing sensing fluid such that the sensing fluid is in communication with the second side of the diaphragm. The first side of the diaphragm may be fluidly coupled to an operating line, such as a suction line, to communicate temperature and pressure to the first side of the diaphragm, thereby providing heat transfer with the sensing fluid on the opposite side. Temperature changes of the sensing fluid results in pressure changes applied to the diaphragm causing movement of the valve member to control flow of the operating fluid.

Expansion valve

An expansion valve with an improved vibration isolation mechanism includes a valve body, a valve element, a biasing member that biases the valve body toward a valve seat, an actuation rod that contacts the valve element and presses the valve element in a valve opening direction against a biasing force of the biasing member, and a vibration isolating spring that suppresses vibration of the valve element. The actuation rod is inserted into an actuation rod insertion hole in the valve body. The vibration isolating spring includes a leg spring having a base portion and a plurality of leg portions extending from the base portion. The leg spring is arranged in the valve chamber such that a center axis of the leg spring is non-coincident with a center axis of the actuation rod insertion hole.

An expansion valve including a valve body having an inlet, an outlet, a main flow passage extending from inlet to outlet, and a metering orifice in the at least one main flow passage. A power element controls movement of a valve member relative to the metering orifice to control flow of operating fluid passing across the metering orifice when the valve is operating in a forward flow expansion mode. The valve body includes an internal bypass flow passage that bypasses the metering orifice, and a bypass check valve is arranged internally of the valve body in the bypass flow passage. The bypass check valve is configured to open at least partially in response to operating fluid flowing in a reverse flow bypass mode in which activation of the bypass check valve opens the bypass flow passage to permit operating fluid to bypass the metering orifice in the reverse bypass mode.
