VACUUM ADIABATIC BODY AND REFRIGERATOR
Provided is a vacuum adiabatic body. To reduce a heat transfer amount between two plates, the vacuum adiabatic body includes: a conductive resistance sheet connecting plate members to each other, an exhaust port through which a gas of a third space is exhausted, and a sealing frame covering a conductive resistance sheet. A virtual line connecting both end portions of the conductive resistance sheet to each other is installed to be obliquely inclined when at least one extension direction of a first plate member or a second plate member is viewed in a horizontal direction.
INSULATION SYSTEM FOR A COOKING APPLIANCE INCORPORATING A PLURALITY OF MICROSPHERE SHEETS
An appliance includes an outer shell and an inner shell, wherein the outer shell and the inner shell are engaged to define an insulating cavity therebetween, and wherein the inner shell includes an inner surface that defines an interior cavity. An insulation member includes a plurality of layers, each layer of the plurality of layers including an insulative sheet defining first and second surfaces and a plurality of microspheres at least partially disposed within the insulative sheet, wherein at least a portion of the plurality of microspheres extends outward from each of the first and second surfaces to define a plurality of protrusions, and wherein the engagement of two adjacent layers of the plurality of layers causes a portion of the plurality of protrusions to engage and define a plurality of insulating air pockets between the adjacent layers.

Refrigerator
There is disclosed a refrigerator including a vacuum space formed between an outer case and an inner case to improve an insulation function thereof, which includes an inner case that defines an exterior appearance of a storage space, an outer case spaced apart a predetermined distance from the inner case, a vacuum space provided between the inner case and the outer case, with being maintained vacuum, to insulate the inner case from the outer case, a plurality of spacers for supporting the inner case and the outer case space that are spaced apart from each other, and a radiation blocking film provided in the vacuum space, spaced apart from the inner case and the outer case.
Transport Container for Transporting Temperature-Sensitive Transport Goods
A transport container for transporting temperature-sensitive transport goods, including an interior for receiving the transport goods, is definable by an enclosure made up of several layers including at least one latent heat accumulator layer or at least one latent heat accumulator element, at least one energy distribution layer made of a highly heat-conductive material disposed on a side facing away from the interior, and/or on the side facing the interior, of the at least one latent heat accumulator layer and/or the at least one latent heat accumulator element.
Portable cooling unit and a portable storage unit
A portable cooling unit for cooling and insulating a vessel. The unit has a thermally insulating envelope that includes a breathable reflective layer, a breathable waterproof layer and an opening for accessing the vessel. A cooling envelope that is arranged to cool and house the thermally insulating envelope and the vessel. The cooling envelope has two water-permeable layers and an opening for accessing the vessel. The unit further has a housing envelope that is arranged to house the vessel, the cooling envelope and the thermally insulating envelope. The housing envelope includes an opening for accessing the vessel and a breathable water-permeable layer that allows moisture to cross the envelope. The two water-permeable layers of the cooling layer are arranged to bound an enclosure containing an absorbent and moisture-wicking material that is arranged to cool the vessel via evaporation of water.
Transport container
A transport container for transporting temperature-sensitive goods, having a container wall arrangement surrounding an interior chamber for accommodating the goods comprising a plurality of walls adjoining one another at an angle. The container wall arrangement has an opening for loading and unloading the interior chamber, which opening can be closed by means of a door device, and the container wall arrangement encloses the interior chamber on all sides with the exception of the opening. The container wall arrangement consists of a layered structure comprising, from the outside to the inside, a first insulation layer, optionally a second insulation layer, and an energy distribution layer bounding the interior chamber and made of a material having a thermal conductivity of >100 W/(m.Math.K). In the interior chamber, at least one coolant reservoir for holding a coolant is arranged and/or fastened to at least one wall, in particular an upper wall.
