FLUIDIZED BED SYSTEM
A fluidized bed system is a single unitary modular system that packages a circulation fan, a fluidized bed, and a dust collection system within a same structure. The structure is formed to include internal ducts to provide fluid communication between the circulation fan, the fluidized bed, and the dust collection system. The fan provides a flow of air via a pressure duct to the fluidized bed. Particulate is separated from particles included on the fluidized bed by the flow of air being uniformly distributed to the fluidized bed. Particulate separated in a disengagement area and suspended in the flow of air is conducted through a particulate clearance space surrounding the dust collection system. The particulate is captured by the dust collection system and conveyed to a location external to the system.

METHOD OF DRYING BIOMASS
A process for torrefaction of biomass is provided in which biomass are passed into a fluidized bed reactor and heated to a predetermined temperature in an oxidizing environment. The dried biomass is then fed to a cooler where the temperature of the product is reduced to approximately 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

Charge air cooler
A chamber for absorbing condensate formed in a charge-air-cooler of a turbocharged engine system. The chamber may include desiccant to absorb the moisture. The chamber may also include a valve that is controlled by the vehicle control module to open to allow airflow to pass by the desiccant and absorb the moisture from the desiccant or to place in a closed position to allow the desiccant to absorb the condensate formed in the charge-air-cooler.
Sludge drying method and installation
This sludge drying device is characterised in that a gas entraining a mix of sludge and sand is recycled after drying (6) and separation (8) to be compressed (10) and circulate again through the dryer (6) acting as a heat exchange fluid. Compression has been performed to increase the dew point temperature of the gas containing the evaporated moisture, such that the latent heat of evaporation can be recovered by the drying gas. The required operating power can then be much lower than the required power for evaporating the moisture contained in the sludge, because most of this power is recovered.
Circulating mass dryer and method for drying wet sludge
The invention relates to a circulating mass dryer for drying wet sludge. According to the invention, the circulating mass dryer includes two adjacent circulating mass systems in heat exchange communication with one another, wherein the first circulating mass system is a sludge drying side and the second circulating mass system is a heat releasing side, and the first and the second circulating mass system each comprises at least one elongated riser (3, 16), and the riser (3) of the first circulating mass system and the riser (16) of the second circulating mass system are adjacent in such a way that a common heat exchange surface is formed therebetween. In addition, the invention relates to a corresponding method.
