The heat transfer ridges comprise ridge contact areas within which the ridges are arranged to abut an adjacent first heat transfer plate. Within at least half of the heat transfer area, the top portions of the ridges have a first width w1, and the bottom portions of the valleys have a second width w2, w1≠w2. The top portion of a number of first heat transfer ridges of the heat transfer ridges, within a respective first ridge contact area of the ridge contact areas, has a third width w3, wherein, if w1>w2 then w3<w1, and, if w1<w2 then w3>w1.
SHELL-AND-PLATE HEAT EXCHANGER
A shell and plate heat exchanger includes a shell forming an internal space, and a plate stack housed in the internal space. A plurality of refrigerant channels communicate with the internal space, and a plurality of heating medium channels are blocked from the internal space. Each of the refrigerant channels is adjacent to an associated one of the heating medium channels with heat transfer plate interposed between. Each of the heat transfer plates includes a first communication hole that communicates with the heating medium channels to introduce the heating medium, a second communication hole formed below the first communication hole that communicates with the heating medium channels to emit the heating medium, and a guide crossing between the first and second communication holes to guide the heating medium that has flowed into the heating medium channels from the first communication hole toward side portions of the heat transfer plate.
COMPACT HEAT EXCHANGER UNIT FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE PARTICULARLY AND AIR CONDITIONING MODULE
A compact heat exchanger unit within an air conditioning apparatus for a vehicle, and a condenser region for the condensation of refrigerant is formed as a heat exchanging surface, and a high-pressure-refrigerant collector region as a refrigerant collector is formed in the integrated form as a plate packet of a heat exchanger within a plate heat exchanger.
Enthalpy Heat Exchanger
The invention relates to a counter flow enthalpy exchanger (1) having a parallelogram-shaped central part (11), whose ends in the flow direction through the exchanger it is joined by end parts (12, 13), which become narrower in the direction from the central part (11), whereby in order to separate the flow of the heat-transfer medium in the direction from the inner space to the outer space are arranged contour identical and with respect to the flowing medium sealed vapour-permeable lamellae (10) with shaping means for generating turbulent flow, whereby every two adjacent lamellae (10) form one interplate flow channel in the central part (11) one interplate flow channel. The lamella (10) is made as a one-piece self-supporting moulding common to the central part (11) and the end parts (12, 13), whereby it does not have a reinforcing support grid. Two adjacent lamellae (10) form one interplate flow channel in the end part (12, 13), in the walls of which are formed straight protrusions (121, 131) situated in the direction of the heat-transfer medium flow between the central part (11) and corresponding inlet or outlet of this medium.
COOLING ELEMENT
Cooling element for vacuum pump comprising a base element wherein by the base element an internal void is defined. Further, an inlet is connected to the base element and is in fluent connection with the void. Further, an outlet is connected to the base element and in fluent connection with the void such that a coolant can flow from the inlet through the void to the outlet to dissipated heat. Therein, the base element is connected to a housing of a vacuum pump.
DOUBLE PLATE HEAT EXCHANGER
The present invention relates to a plate element (2) having a first heat transfer plate (10) and a second heat transfer plate (20), the first heat transfer plate (10) and the second heat transfer plate (20) being connected to each other to form the plate element (2). Each of the first heat transfer plate (10) and the second heat transfer plate (20) is formed of a plate body with a main part with a heat exchanging portion (40) formed with a surface pattern (45). The first heat transfer plate (10) is formed with a first set of openings (3a, 3d) in first extension sections (50) reaching out from the main part of the plate body, and the second heat transfer plate (20) is formed with a second set of openings (3b, 3c) in second extension sections (50) reaching out from the main part of the plate body. The first extension sections (50) of the first heat transfer plate (10) and the second extension sections (50) of the second heat transfer plate (20) are positioned such that the first set of openings (3a, 3d) and the second set of openings (3b, 3c) are not overlapping. The present invention further relates to a plate heat exchanger (1).
Push-Pull Counter Flow Heat Exchanger
A Heat Exchanger Unit comprising a venting unit, a shutter, a counter flow heat exchanger and a plurality of plenums. The venting unit pulls the fresh air from outdoor air through the shutter while it pushes the contaminated inside air through the counter flow heat exchanger and the plurality of plenums toward outside air.
MULTI-REGION HEAT EXCHANGER
A heat exchanger includes a first side of a heat exchanger layer with a first flow path, wherein the first flow path flows through a heat soak region and a flow region, and a second side of the heat exchanger layer with a second flow path in thermal communication with the first flow path, wherein an inlet of the first flow path and an inlet of the second flow path are proximate in the heat soak region.
Heat Exchanger for Heating a Fluid Using Exhaust Gas
A rapid warm-up heat exchanger for heating a fluid using exhaust gas includes multiple plate pairs that are joined by braze joints to form a stack. A fluid inlet manifold and a fluid manifold extend through the stack, and each one of the plate pairs defines a tortuous flow path for the fluid that extends between the fluid inlet and fluid outlet manifolds. A housing surrounds the stack, and together the housing and the stack define an exhaust flow path in spaces provided between adjacent plate pairs. A valve element can be provided within the housing in order to selectively direct exhaust flow through the exhaust flow path.
