Handgun with improved slide
10184738 · 2019-01-22 · ·

Handguns, pistols, devices, and methods with improved slides that are both less expensive and less complex than prior art hollow slides used in handguns. The pistol can be formed from two half sections that can be attached together with fasteners, such as screws. The half sections can include upper barrel half covers preformed with generally vertical grip halve parts. A novel L shaped slide assembly can be located between the attached upper barrel half covers.

Electromechanical gun

The present disclosure provides systems, devices, and techniques that can be implemented at a gun, such as an electromechanical gun. The gun may include a barrel located within a slide and a cylindrical spring enveloping the barrel. The barrel may be configured to act as a guide rod for the cylindrical spring, and the cylindrical spring may be configured to bias the slide in a forward battery position. The gun may include an electronic component such as an energy store, a processor, or a circuit board, located under the barrel and forward of the trigger when the gun is in an upright position. The gun may include a physical transmission medium that electronically couples the electronic component with an additional electronic component located rearward of the trigger, and the physical transmission medium may be at least partially encapsulated by a trigger guard.

AUTOMATIC CIRCULATION SHOOTING MECHANISM
20240384953 · 2024-11-21 ·

An automatic circulation shooting mechanism includes a gun body assembly, a gun barrel assembly, a bolt assembly, a recoil spring assembly, a triggering assembly, and a cartridge feeding assembly. Regarding the gun body assembly, a barrel fixing cap can separate from a barrel frame, so the gun barrel assembly mounted in the barrel frame can be replaced. The gun barrel assembly includes two barrel spring fixing seats disposed on a barrel, a barrel spring therebetween and a barrel extension. The barrel extension and a breech bolt of the bolt assembly are engaged for locking while shooting to allow the barrel and the breech bolt to recoil together by a linear freedom motion and affect the barrel spring, a bolt spring of the bolt assembly, and the recoil spring assembly for absorbing, storing, and releasing energy, thereby buffering recoil force of the shooting efficiently and attaining an automatic circulation shooting effect.

In a preferred embodiment, a pistol compensator system comprises a compensator, an elastomeric spacer, an assortment of variously sized shims, a spring guide rod, and a spring plug. The compensator of this system comprises a body, a barrel cavity, a threaded bore, an oval rod cavity, and a plug cavity. The spring plug of this system comprises a latch extension. The spring guide rod of this system comprises a muzzle end. When this preferred embodiment is installed on a pistol, if the pistol is in battery (slide closed) the latch extension is disposed in the plug cavity, and if the pistol is out of battery (slide back) the muzzle end of the guide rod is disposed in the rod cavity. In this preferred embodiment, the compensator is tensioned to the end of the barrel by the elastomeric spacer and a shim.

RECOIL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR A GUN
20250075995 · 2025-03-06 ·

A system is disclosed for extending a recoil impulse of a gun. The system elongates the recoil impulse to spread the recoil energy over time and reduce felt (i.e., peak) recoil force. Although the system adds weight to a gun, the system reduces felt recoil beyond what is possible by simply adding weight to a gun by using an inertial weight on a spring to absorb and release energy. To prevent shaking, the inertial weight system is tuned to a gun so that the inertial weight hits a pair of stops at certain points in the gun's discharge action cycle.
