MAGAZINE OF A PISTOL FOR CARTRIDGES WITH A CASE RIM, AND PISTOL HAVING SUCH A MAGAZINE
A magazine of a pistol for cartridges with a case rim, having a hollow magazine body for accommodating the cartridges in two vertically offset rows, a base plate, a feeder, which is guided in a displaceable manner in the magazine body, and a compression spring between the feeder and the base plate, wherein the upper end region of the magazine body forms a narrowing, in which the two rows of cartridges are guided together to form a single row. In order to ensure a reliable feed of the cartridges despite the case rim, in the longitudinal center the side walls have inwardly directed beads which run over the entire height of the side walls and merge, in the upper region, into converging guide ribs, and the feeder forms a bearing surface, which is convex in the longitudinal direction and on which a cartridge located thereon can alter its angle of inclination in relation to the horizontal.
Magazine for small arms
A magazine for small arms is disclosed including box (1), bottom lid (2) with opening, ammunition (3), magazine follower (4), coil spring (6), where between the follower (4) and the coil spring (6) a disk (5) with a rectangular through hole (17) is made, which presses the upper end of the coil spring (6) to the follower (4), the ammunition stream separator (7). In addition there are grooves (8) along the wide side walls of the magazine box (1), on the inner surfaces facing the ammunition (3) a ground surface (9) is made, wherein in the lower part of the box of the magazine, on the outer surface there is a triangular ledge (12), and in upper part of magazine box (1) on wide side walls there are rigidly fixed plate inserts (10), on which the feeding projections (14) are made, the polished section (15) and the conical section (16).

Cased telescoped ammunition cartridge having a thermal protective insert
A cased telescoped cartridge that includes a cylindrical case surrounding a projectile, a front end through which the projectile exits when the cased telescoped cartridge is fired, and a thermal protective insert located at the front end. The thermal protective insert insulates the cased telescoped cartridge from heat emanating from a barrel of a firearm into a chamber of a firearm when the cartridge is loaded into the chamber of the firearm. The thermal protective insert is made up of at least one thermally insulating material, and is integrated into the front end of the cased telescoped cartridge.
Ribless double stack ammunition magazine
A ribless double stack magazine for use with a firearm. The inner walls of an embodiment of the magazine body define a trapezoidal cross section and there are no ribs extending inwardly from any of the inner walls. The magazine body is fabricated from a plastic material that minimizes friction and bulge slightly in response to pressure on cartridges from the spring. The thickness of the sidewalls is sufficient to control the bulge and maintain the exterior dimensions of the magazine within the tolerances necessary to properly function in the magazine well of a firearm.
