SLIDE LOCK-BACK FOLLOWER ASSEMBLY
This disclosure describes systems, methods, and apparatus for a follower assembly comprising one or more dummy cartridges, the first thereof comprising an angled follower platform that when pressed between the follower spring and a final live cartridge in the magazine, rotates to a first side of the magazine and enhances follower interaction with a slide lock mechanism. The follower platform may also be angled back to front to further enhance this interaction. The follower platform may include a protruding heel extending laterally from a front portion of the first side of the follower platform configured to interface with the slide lock mechanism. A rear stop may extend from a rear portion of the first side and interface with a downward-facing surface of the magazine near the feed end, wherein contact between these two surfaces causes a front end of the first dummy cartridge to rotate upward.

TRAINING ATTACHMENT
The invention relates to small arms. A training attachment comprises a housing having an element for fastening to a combat or dummy firearm, a barrel for a projectile, spring-loaded elements for feeding, ramming and storing a projectile, and gas channels. Lightweight elements, for example airsoft or paintball pellets, are used as the projectile. A shot is fired using standard blank cartridges. The technical result is the firing of a projectile from a combat or dummy weapon with negligible energy during tactical drills with assessment of aim and hit accuracy.
Magazine with a moveable lip for cased telescoped ammunition cartridges
A magazine for storing cased telescoped (CT) cartridges and delivering the CT cartridges to a firearm configured to fire CT cartridges. The magazine includes a fixed lip and a moveable lip. The fixed lip and the moveable lip of the magazine are configured to prevent a CT cartridge located in a top-most position within the magazine from being pushed out a top of the magazine when the magazine is not fully inserted into a magazine well of the firearm configured to fire CT cartridges. The moveable lip may pivot laterally on a pivot point and move out of the way of the CT cartridge located in the top-most position within the magazine when the magazine is fully inserted and locked into the magazine well of the firearm configured to fire CT cartridges.
DRUM MAGAZINE ASSEMBLY AND METHODS
A magazine assembly for a firearm and a related method are disclosed. The assembly has a magazine housing defining a track, and a follower assembly. The magazine housing is configured to constrain a cartridge as the cartridge is moved within the magazine assembly such that majority of a proximal surface area of the cartridge does not contact the magazine housing, and a distal tip of the cartridge does not contact the magazine housing.
