The invention has for object a mechanical target-launching machine comprising a loading system 1 and an actuator 3 which are disjointed from one another. The actuator 3 and the loading system 1 are connected to one another by a power transmission device 2. Said power transmission device 2 is a flexible element and preferably an arming cable 21. An energy accumulator 6 allows energy to be stored so that it can be released abruptly and allow the launching of a target 29.

Shooting target thrower

A shooting target thrower for throwing a shooting target includes a throwing arm rotatable about a throwing axis to throw the shooting target. A throwing spring is operatively coupled to the throwing arm and rotates the throwing arm to throw the shooting target. A drive train is operatively coupled to the throwing arm and includes a charge pedal and a fire pedal. The charge pedal rotates the throwing arm toward a cocked position. The fire pedal releases the throwing arm to rotate, under a force of the throwing spring, from the cocked position to throw the shooting target.

HANDHELD SHOOTING TARGET THROWER

A handheld target thrower, components thereof, and associated methods. In some embodiments, the target thrower includes a frame, a thrower, and a target holder that holds the target in position to be thrown by the thrower when the thrower moves relative to the target holder. In some embodiments, the target thrower includes a firing mechanism including a release actuator and a safety spaced apart from one another such that both hands of an operator are required to fire a target. In some embodiments, the target thrower includes one or more debris outlets that allow debris, such as from broken targets, that may enter the target thrower to migrate out of the target thrower so as to not disrupt the operation of the target thrower.
