Vane pump assembly
An improved vane pump assembly is provided. The vane pump assembly includes a housing with an open chamber that is circular in shape when viewed in cross-section and has an inner wall that surrounds the open chamber. A rotor is rotatably disposed in the open chamber of the housing. As with the open chamber, the rotor is circular in shape when viewed in cross-section and has a diameter. The rotor further has at least one through-passage which extends diametrically across the rotor. The rotor is positioned such that it has a center that is offset from a center of the circular open chamber of the housing.
Variable lubricant vane pump
A vane pump for providing a pressurized lubricant includes a static pump housing defining an inlet and an outlet, a shiftable control ring with at least one slide support surface, a pump rotor with rotor vanes which rotate within the control ring, and metal slide support pad(s). The control ring shifts with respect to the pump rotor to vary an eccentricity and to thereby control a volumetric pump performance. The pump housing comprises a static control ring housing body which radially surrounds and supports the control ring, and two static pump housing lids which axially support the control ring housing body and the control ring. The control ring housing body is made of plastic. The metal slide support pad(s) is fixed to the static control ring housing body and, together with the at least one slide support surface, provides a friction bearing for the control ring.
ROTARY COMPRESSOR
A rotary compressor is provided that may include a roller slidingly coupled to an eccentric portion of a rotational shaft so as to be moved along an inner circumferential surface of a cylinder by the rotational shaft, and a vane slidingly coupled to the cylinder so as to divide the compression space into a plurality of compression chambers. An oil supply groove may be formed on an outer circumferential surface of the eccentric portion or an inner circumferential surface of the roller that faces the outer circumferential surface of the eccentric portion, and a depth of the oil supply groove may decrease as a distance in a circumferential direction from the second oil supply hole increases. Accordingly, an amount of oil supplied between the eccentric portion and the roller may be increased to thereby reduce friction loss.
Modified two-phase cycle
A system including a pump, a boiler coupled to the pump, a turbine coupled to the boiler, a two-phase expander coupled to the turbine, and a condenser coupled to the two-phase expander and the pump.
Slide vane, pump body assembly, compressor and air conditioner having same
The disclosure discloses a slide vane, a pump body assembly, a compressor and an air conditioner having the same. The pump body assembly includes a cylinder assembly, a flange portion, a rotating shaft and the slide vane. The flange portion is connected to the cylinder assembly, a working cavity is formed between the flange portion and the cylinder assembly, and an avoidance portion is provided on a surface, located in the working cavity, of the flange portion. A limiting structure is provided in an accommodation portion. The limiting structure is provided with an avoidance position in the accommodation portion, and at least part of the limiting structure is provided with a limiting position protruded out of a surface of the accommodation portion. Such a configuration avoids friction occurring between the head of the slide vane and the cavity wall of the working cavity.
Rotary sliding vane machine with hydrostatic slide bearings for the vanes
The invention relates to a rotary sliding vane machine (1) for fluid processing, comprising a housing (2) with a cavity (4) with a rotor (9). Vanes (12) are arranged in outwardly directed slots (13) in the rotor (9), and relative sliding between the vanes and the rotor provides spaces with variable volumes in the rotational direction. Each vane is supported by hydrostatic slide bearings (20, 20′) on each side of the vane (12). Due to pressure changes of the process fluid, the vane (12) is tilted towards and away from bearing pads (27, 27, 87). The invention causes the bearing pads to adjust their position to the vane (12), and also causes a change of volume of a bearing fluid chamber (21, 21′, 81), which in turn effects a supply of bearing fluid to the slide bearing fluid film.
Displacement expanding apparatus and engine including the same
Provided are: a displacement expanding apparatus, which uses environmentally friendly electrical energy to generate rotational power; and an engine including the displacement expanding apparatus, the novel engine having improved performance and a long lifespan. Also, to realize a novel engine, provided is a novel engine which is environmentally friendly and has a long lifespan.
Rotary engine with recirculating arc roller power transfer
The disclosure provides rotary machines that include, in one embodiment, a shaft defining a central axis A, the shaft having a first end and a second end. The shaft can have a first gearbox disposed thereon defining one or more cavities therein. At least one contour is slidably received into an arcuate cavity in an exterior surface of the gearbox. The contour has a convex outer surface that cooperates with an inwardly facing curved surface of a housing to form a working volume. A gearbox mechanism consisting of gears, crankshafts, bearings and connecting rod creates an oscillatory motion 2 times per revolution such that the contour can navigate about the arcuate cavity without contacting the cavity at a high rate of rotating speed. Thus, said working volume can expand and compresses twice per rotatable shaft revolution.
SINGLE CHAMBER MULTIPLE INDEPENDENT CONTOUR ROTARY MACHINE
The disclosure provides rotary machines that include, in one embodiment, a rotatable shaft defining a central axis A, the shaft having a first end and a second end. The shaft can have a first hub disposed thereon with a plurality of cavities. At least one contour is slidably received into an arcuate cavity in an exterior surface of the hub. The contour has a convex outer surface that cooperates with an inwardly facing curved surface of a housing to form a working volume.
EXTERNAL COMBUSTION ROTARY ENGINE
The present invention describes an external combustion rotary engine, which, due to the separate combustion chamber of the engine, is possible the operation at a lower temperature than those internal combustions, therefore, the engine efficiency is greater. Another characteristic presented by the external combustion rotary engine is that it has concentric expansion chambers and through cams that have a rotor, it is possible to take advantage of the expansion force of the working fluid. The external combustion rotary engine is of closed-cycle operation, so the consumption of additional water is reduced as work fluid since the amount of water within the system is sufficient. Finally, it is worth mentioning that the external combustion rotary engine, thanks to its operation principle, can be applied in the electric power generation field.
