Coolant pump for a vehicle
A Pump for recirculating a cooling fluid of a vehicle comprises a pump body, which is fixed during use; an impeller mounted on a driven shaft; with a friction coupling of the electromagnetic type, made of a fixed electromagnet, a rotor and an armature. A pulley for taking up a rotational movement is connected to a movement source such as a shaft of the combustion engine of the vehicle and mounted on an outer bearing keyed onto the pump body. An electric motor is provided for driving the driven shaft independently of the movement take-up pulley; and a bell member is fastened to an end of the driven shaft opposite to that which carries the impeller. The friction coupling is designed to rotationally couple/decouple the pulley and bell member and the electric motor is arranged inside the bell member on the opposite side to the impeller relative to friction coupling.
APPARATUS FOR ACTUATING AND CONTROLLING THE ROTATION OF BLADES OF FANS FOR COOLING THE COOLANT IN MACHINES/VEHICLES
Apparatus for actuating and controlling the rotation, about their longitudinal axis (Y-Y), of blades (20) of cooling fans (10) for operating machines and/or vehicles, in particular agricultural tractors and off-road vehicles, said fan being mounted on a hub (11) which can be rotationally driven about its axis (X-X) by associated driving means (3,3a) suitable for connection to the heat engine (1) and mounted on a fixed support (5) by means of a bearing (3b) the apparatus comprising a ring (71) provided with a radial seat (71a) inside which a radial pin (72), eccentrically engaged in a base (73) integral with the shank (20a) of the blade (20), is inserted; an electric motor (30) which is coaxial with the axis (X-X) of the hub (11) and the shaft (31) of which is coaxially connected to a reduction gear (40), the kinematic output element (143) of which is coaxially connected by means of a screw (51a)/female thread (76a) coupling to a slider (76) displaceable in both directions along the axis (X-X) and kinematically connected to the ring (71) with an eccentric pin (72) driving the base (73) of the shank of the blade, an electromagnetic clutch (80; 180; 280) being arranged between the pulley (3) and the hub (11) of the fan.
Low-carbon economical electromagnetic fan clutch
A low-carbon economical electromagnetic fan clutch includes a spindle and a fan fixing disc, wherein the low-carbon economical electromagnetic fan clutch further includes an eddy current disc. The fan fixing disc and the eddy current disc are sequentially arranged at a left end of the spindle along an axial direction from left to right; one or multiple groups of permanent magnets are arranged on the fan fixing disc around the spindle, and a conductive non-magnetic-conductive material is fixed at a corresponding position of the eddy current disc; the fan fixing disc is rotationally connected with the spindle through a first bearing, and the eddy current disc is rotationally connected with the spindle through a second bearing. In the low-carbon economical electromagnetic fan clutch, an electromagnetic eddy current high heat accumulation area is effectively separated from the fan fixing disc rotating at a high speed.
Driven accessory
A driven accessory that includes an input member, a cover, an output member, a clutch and a clutch actuator. The input member is rotatable about an axis and has a hub, an outer rim, and a radially extending web that couples the hub to the outer rim. The cover is coupled to the input member for common rotation about the axis and cooperates with the input member to define a clutch cavity. The clutch is received in the clutch cavity and selectively transmits rotary power between the input member and the output member. The clutch actuator is selectively operable to change the operational state in which the clutch operates. The clutch actuator has an electromagnetic coil that is disposed outside the clutch cavity. The hub is disposed along the axis between the clutch and the electromagnetic coil.
