AEROSOL-GENERATING ARTICLE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
An aerosol-generating article and a method of manufacturing the same capable of simultaneously improving satisfaction with a tobacco smoke taste and allowing the aerosol-generating article to be manufactured at low cost are provided. The aerosol-generating article according to some embodiments of the present disclosure may include an aerosol-forming substrate portion which includes shredded tobacco leaves and is configured to form an aerosol when electrically heated by an aerosol generation device and a mouthpiece portion which is disposed downstream of the aerosol-forming substrate portion to form a downstream end of the aerosol-generating article. Since the shredded tobacco leaves are cheaper than a reconstituted tobacco sheet, manufacturing costs of the aerosol-generating article may be reduced. Also, unlike the reconstituted tobacco sheet, since the amount of supplementary materials added to the shredded tobacco leaves is small, an off-taste may be reduced, and thus user satisfaction with a tobacco smoke taste may be improved.
CIGAR TOBACCO STRIPS AND A METHOD FOR PACKAGING THE SAME
A cigar tobacco strips and a method for rolling and packaging the same is provided. The cigar tobacco strip is rolled into cylindrical shape and placed within an enveloping means. The tobacco strip is wrapped into cylindrical form causing the cigar tobacco paper to form a plurality of layers, wherein said layer comprises a double strip section. The rolled tobacco strip is then placed inside an enveloping means. The encased tobacco strip within the enveloping means allows for the tobacco strip to keep a cylindrical shape until delivered and used by a consumer. The enveloping means may maintain the moisture for longer time due to the rolling method prior to delivery to a consumer.

AN IMPROVED PROCESS FOR PREPARING SMOKING PRODUCTS OF THE TYPE TO BE HEATED AND NOT BURNT
An improved process is provided for the preparation of smoking products of the type to be heated and not burnt, in particular cigarette-shaped. The method includes adding propylene glycol to an already cut material, based on tobacco and/or cannabis in percent not less than 6% by weight on anhydrous basis of the cut material.
Flavor source manufacturing method
A method of manufacturing a flavor source includes: a step A of adding a basic substance to a tobacco raw material; a step B of heating the tobacco raw material added with the basic substance and releasing an inhaling flavor component into a vapor phase from the tobacco raw material; a step C of collecting the inhaling flavor component released into the vapor phase in the step B; a step D of washing a tobacco residue being the tobacco raw material obtained after the inhaling flavor component is released in the step B, with a washing solvent; a step E of pulverizing or cutting the tobacco residue obtained after being washed in the step D; and a step F of adding the inhaling flavor component collected in the step C to the tobacco residue obtained after pulverized or cut in the step E.
