Solenoid Valve for a Fuel Injection System, and High Pressure Fuel Pump
There is disclosed a solenoid valve for a fuel injection system, in which solenoid valve a closing element which interacts with a valve seat in order to close and open the solenoid valve is actuated by a control pin, the control pin being formed by way of a solenoid plunger. Furthermore, a high pressure fuel pump is disclosed which has a solenoid valve of this type.
HIGH PRESSURE FUEL SUPPLY PUMP WITH ELECTROMAGNETIC SUCTION VALVE
To reduce collision noise created by the operation of an electromagnetic suction valve provided on a high pressure fuel supply pump. In the present invention, in order to achieve the above object, the mass of a member which collides by magnetic attractive force is reduced to reduce the noise to be generated. The thus configured present invention provides the following advantageous effects. The noise generated when a core and an anchor collide with each other by magnetic attractive force depends on the magnitude of the kinetic energy of a moving element. The kinetic energy to be consumed in the collision is only the kinetic energy of the anchor. The kinetic energy of a rod, being absorbed by a spring, does not contribute to the noise; thus, the energy when the anchor and the core collide with each other can be reduced, whereby the noise to be created can be reduced.
Electromagnetic actuator, valve, and injection pump
An electromagnetic actuator includes an electromagnet having a coil, which coil surrounds a pole core, and a magnet armature, which can be moved toward the pole core by the electromagnet, wherein the magnet armature has a bearing surface facing the pole core and the pole core has a correspondingly opposite counter surface. The bearing surface and/or the counter bearing surface has a layer that prevents direct contact of the bearing surface with the counter bearing surface and that causes damping of the approaching movement.

FUEL PUMP
A fuel pump comprising a valve assembly. The valve assembly comprises a valve member defining a valve axis, and an electromagnetically controlled armature assembly configured to reciprocate linearly along the valve axis within an armature chamber of the fuel pump. The fuel pump further comprises a spring configured to engage a first side of the armature assembly to provide a spring force acting in a first direction along the valve axis. The fuel pump further comprises a lift stop provided on a floor surface of the armature chamber and configured to engage a second side of the armature assembly to limit movement of the armature assembly in the first direction. The armature assembly comprises an armature body fixed to an armature carrier. The armature carrier is fixed to the valve member.
FUEL INJECTION CONTROL DEVICE AND FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM
A fuel injection control device is adapted for a fuel injection system including an injector and a high-pressure pump that raises pressure of fuel and supplies the fuel to the injector. The fuel injection control device includes a selecting unit for selecting by which one of full lift injection and partial injection to inject fuel, and a pump control unit for controlling operation of the high-pressure pump such that a pressure of fuel supplied to the injector coincides with a target pressure. The selecting unit selects the partial injection when a required injection quantity of fuel is equal to or smaller than a partial maximum injection quantity. A fuel injection system includes the fuel injection control device, the injector, and the high-pressure pump.
High pressure valve
Electromagnetically actuable high-pressure valve, having a valve seat which is arranged in a valve chamber and which can be closed off by a sealing element and which is arranged between a low-pressure side (N) and a high-pressure side (H) of the valve, wherein the sealing element is arranged so as to be movable between an open position and a closed position, having a movably arranged armature, and having an electrically energizable coil which is designed and arranged so as to be suitable for acting on the armature, wherein the armature and the sealing element are arranged in the valve chamber.
Fuel injector for injecting fuel
The invention relates to a fuel injector for injecting fuel under high pressure, comprising a housing (1) equipped with a nozzle needle (10) which can be moved in a longitudinal direction and a seal surface (11) of which opens and closes one or more injection openings (13), fuel being injectable via said injection openings. A control chamber (20) which can be filled with fuel exerts a hydraulic pressure onto the nozzle needle (10) in the closing direction thereof, wherein the pressure in the control chamber (20) can be influenced by a control valve (22) in that the control valve (22) opens and closes a hydraulic connection between the control chamber (20) and a low-pressure chamber (21). The control valve (22) comprises a solenoid armature (23) which interacts with a control valve seat (26) in order to open and close the hydraulic connection, said solenoid armature (23) being radially guided in the housing (1) on the exterior (33) of the solenoid armature.
