Multiple stage blowers and volutes therefor
A blower assembly is configured to deliver a flow of breathable gas at a continuously positive pressure with respect to ambient air pressure to a patient interface in communication with an entrance to a patient's airways including at least an entrance of the patient's nares, while the patient is sleeping, to ameliorate sleep disordered breathing. The blower assembly includes a motor having a shaft that extends from opposite sides of the motor. The blower assembly also includes an impeller and a circuit board. The impeller is attached to the shaft on a first side of the motor and is structured to rotate in close proximity to a volute wall. The circuit board is configured to control power supplied to the motor and is configured to disable the motor when the impeller is closer than a predetermined distance from the volute wall.
Inserting and removing device for compressor, and method of inserting and removing bundle
This compressor inserting and removing device (1) is provided with: an intermediate supporting portion (4) which supports a bundle (32), prior to insertion from a horizontal axis (L1) direction into a compressor casing (34) taking the form of a tube centered around the horizontal axis (L1), from an outer peripheral side of the bundle (32), at a position that is closer to the insertion side of the bundle (32) than an end portion (32d) on the side opposite to the insertion side of the bundle (32); a moving portion (10) which makes it possible for the intermediate supporting portion (4) and the compressor casing (34) to move relative to one another in the horizontal axis L1 direction; a threaded rod (12) which extends parallel to the horizontal axis (L1), and which is fixed at a distal end (12a) thereof to a fixing hole (34b) formed in an end surface (34a) at the insertion side of the compressor casing (34), and which passes through through-holes (6a and 7a) formed in the intermediate supporting portion (4); and a nut (13) which is attached to the threaded rod (12), in such a way as to be capable of coming into contact with the intermediate supporting portion (4), from the side that is closer to the rear end portion (32d) of the bundle (32) than the intermediate supporting portion (4).
Integrated motor-compressor with a stand-alone motor and bundle
The bundle compressor to a bundle motor for compressor unit compressor unit includes one at fastening device configured to fasten the compressor bundle to a motor casing of the motor compressor unit, and also includes at least one opening sized to couple a motor rotor and a compressor rotor through the at least one opening.
CENTRIFUGAL COMPRESSOR
A centrifugal compressor includes a rotary shaft, an electric motor, which has a rotor, a tubular boss, through which the rotary shaft extends, and a radial bearing. The rotor has a rotor end face, which is an end face in an axial direction of the rotary shaft. The boss has a boss end face, which is an end face in the axial direction of the rotary shaft. The rotor end face and the boss end face face each other in the axial direction of the rotary shaft. A thrust bearing is arranged between the rotor end face and the boss end face to receive thrust force generated by rotation of the impeller.
CENTRIFUGAL COMPRESSOR WITHOUT EXTERNAL DRAINAGE SYSTEM, MOTORCOMPRESSOR AND METHOD OF AVOIDING EXTERNAL DRAINAGE IN A COMPRESSOR
A compressor has a lower inlet with an intake plenum and an upper outlet with a discharge scroll; the compressor includes a plurality of drainage pipes ending at the intake plenum.
MULTI-STAGE CENTRIFUGAL COMPRESSOR
A multi-stage centrifugal compressor includes: a rotor including a plurality of impellers disposed in a plurality of stages in an axial direction; a plurality of diaphragms each including a guide flow path that guides a fluid discharged radially outward from one of the impellers to an adjacent impeller on the following stage, and a communication hole extended from a bottom portion of the guide flow path; a casing that accommodates the plurality of diaphragms therein; and an axial flow path that connects the plurality of communication holes to each other. The casing includes a drain flow path disposed only between the communication hole that is the closest to a suction nozzle and the communication hole that is the closest to an ejection nozzle.
CENTRIFUGAL COMPRESSOR
A centrifugal compressor includes a rotor including: a shaft that extends along an axis and an impeller that is fixed to an outer surface of the shaft and feeds a fluid that flows into a first side in an axial direction to an outer side in a radial direction of the axis under pressure; a diaphragm that surrounds the impeller from an outer circumference side; a first casing head disposed at a second side of the diaphragm in the axial direction at an interval; a seal device disposed between the first casing head and the shaft; and a bearing device disposed at the second side in the axial direction with respect to the seal device and disposed between the first casing head and the shaft.
FIXING BOLT FOR STATIONARY MEMBER, AND CENTRIFUGAL COMPRESSOR
A fixing bolt for a stationary member, the bolt extending through and fixing a plurality of stationary members in a multistage centrifugal compressor, includes a head portion, a columnar portion connected to the head portion, and a threaded portion connected to the columnar portion. The columnar portion includes one or more large diameter parts and a plurality of small diameter parts, the one or more large diameter parts each corresponding to a position of an antinode of a primary vibration mode of the fixing bolt for the stationary member, or to the position of the antinode of the primary vibration mode and positions of antinodes of a secondary vibration mode of the fixing bolt for the stationary member, and each of the plurality of small diameter parts having a diameter smaller than each of the large diameter parts.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A FLUID DEVICE IN WHICH FLANGES ARE FASTENED TOGETHER
A method of manufacturing a fluid apparatus with flanges that are fastened together may include the following steps: fastening the flanges with a fastening member; introducing a fluid into an internal space of the fluid apparatus, and plastically deforming portions of the flanges that form seats for receiving the fastening member and portions of the flanges that form mating surfaces with pressure of the fluid being applied; releasing the fastening member and correcting at least the mating surfaces out of the seats and the mating surfaces; and refastening the flanges.
