The magnetic fluid is filled in a gap between the stator and the magnet of the rotor and keeps the inside of the motor airtight, thereby having an advantageous effect of preventing introduction of salt water or foreign substances into the motor.

A motor includes a stationary portion, a rotating portion, and a bearing portion. The rotating portion includes a shaft that rotates about a central axis extending vertically. The stationary portion includes a bearing housing, a stator, and a circuit board. The circuit board is above the stator and includes an insertion hole that permits insertion of the bearing housing. The stator includes a stator core, an insulator, a coil, and a terminal pin. The terminal pin is connected to a conductive wire and connected to the circuit board via a solder portion covered with a coating layer. The insulator includes a base portion and a wall portion. The wall portion protrudes upward from the base portion, is radially outward of the bearing housing, and contacts a radially inner surface of the circuit board at the insertion hole.

Outer rotor type fan structure

An outer rotor type fan structure includes a stator assembly, an outer rotor assembly, a front lateral shielding sheet and an impeller. The stator assembly includes a stator core and a plurality of coils. The outer rotor assembly corresponds to and covers the stator assembly. The outer rotor assembly includes a plurality of magnets and a rotor yoke. The plurality of magnets is disposed corresponding to the plurality of coils. The front lateral shielding sheet is a metallic sheet, the front lateral shielding sheet is disposed between the stator assembly and the outer rotor assembly, and the front lateral shielding sheet corresponds to and covers the plurality of coils. The impeller includes a plurality of blades. The rotor yoke drives the plurality of blades rotating. Thereby, the outer rotor type fan structure can be shielded and the fan can operate properly.
