A thin fan includes a frame and a driving device. The fan frame includes a base and a frame shell. The driving device includes a stator structure and a rotor structure disposed corresponding to the stator structure. The stator structure includes a stator pole group, a bushing, a bearing and a compression-resistant pillar. The rotor structure includes a hollow-cylindrical shaft, a rotor shell, a magnetic structure and an impeller. The shaft is mounted on the outer periphery of the compression-resistant pillar and is disposed between the compression-resistant pillar and the bearing. The rotor shell is connected to the shaft. The magnetic structure is disposed on the inner wall of the rotor shell, and the impeller is connected to the rotor shell. The maximum height of the rotor structure is lower than the height of the compression-resistant pillar when the rotor structure is connected to the stator structure.

A stator assembly includes a stator that drives a rotor rotatable about a central axis extending in a vertical direction, a cover that accommodates the stator, a filling portion that fills a space between the cover and the stator. The cover includes a tubular portion that extends in an axial direction and covers a radially side portion of the stator opposing the rotor in a radial direction, a lid portion that covers an axially upper end portion of the stator, and a cover stepped portion that is provided on a first radial side with respect to the tubular portion. The cover stepped portion comes in contact with the axially upper end portion of the stator and is positioned on an axially lower side with respect to an axially upper end portion of the tubular portion.

The motor has a stator unit covered with a resin. The stator unit has a stator core, a coil, a circuit board, and an insulator. The insulator has a cylindrical portion and a circumferential-direction positioning portion. Below the stator core, the cylindrical portion surrounds a central axis. The circumferential-direction positioning portion protrudes outwards in a radial direction from an outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical portion. At least a part of the circuit board and the circumferential-direction positioning portion are opposed to each other in a circumferential direction. In addition, a lower end of the circumferential-direction positioning portion is positioned above a lower end of the cylindrical portion.

The frame includes a motor housing portion housing the stator, a bearing housing portion housing the bearing portion, a wall formed between the motor housing portion and the bearing housing portion and facing the moving blade, and a hole passing through the wall. The electric blower further includes a first air path outside the frame, and a second air path inside the frame. An air volume in the first air path is larger than an air volume in the second air path.

A fan having a rotor for generating a fluid flow includes a stator and a rotor, which form an electromagnetic rotary drive for rotating the rotor about an axial direction. The rotary drive is an external rotor, and the rotor includes a magnetically effective core configured in an annular manner. The impeller includes a hub on which a plurality of blades configured to generate the fluid flow is arranged, and the stator is a bearing and drive stator configured to magnetically drive the rotor without contact and magnetically levitate the rotor without contact with respect to the stator. The rotor is capable of being actively magnetically levitated in a radial plane perpendicular to the axial direction, the hub of the impeller completely enclosing the magnetically effective core of the rotor, and the stator is encapsulated in a stator housing and formed of a low-permeable material.

The electrical wire is disposed in the second support member to achieve good waterproof effect.

A stator of a polyphase motor in which in-phase coils are connected in parallel includes an annular core back, teeth extending radially from the core back and arranged circumferentially, a slot between two adjacent teeth, conducting wires respectively wound around the teeth to define the coils, and first and second connectors to which ends of each of the in-phase coils are connected, respectively. The conducting wire includes one or two jumper wires between each coil and the first connector or the second connector, and at least one jumper wire extends in an identical circumferential direction from the first connector toward the second connector with respect to all the in-phase coils.

A cooling fan includes: a rotary shaft which is rotatably supported in a fan housing; a rotor which is fixed to the rotary shaft; a stator which is fixed to the fan housing, is arranged so as to be arranged at a predetermined gap away from the rotor, and includes a plurality of stacked stator cores on which a coil is wound; an impeller which is connected to the rotor; a printed circuit board (PCB) which is installed on the bottom side of the stator and controls the cooling fan; and a ground portion which is installed on the stator cores, is electrically connected to a ground pattern of the PCB and expands a ground surface. Thus, damage of circuit components due to electrostatic electricity is prevented, and EMI shielding properties are improved.
