A blower includes a body, a motor, and a single fan configured to rotate in response to rotation of a motor shaft to discharge air through a discharge opening. The maximum rotational speed of the motor shaft is within a range of 50,000 rpm to 120,000 rpm. An area of the discharge opening is changeable by a user. The blower is configured to selectively operate in a first mode or in a second mode according to the area of the discharge opening. In the first mode, the maximum blowing force of the air discharged through the opening is within a range of 2.5 N to 5.0 N when the motor is driven at the maximum rotational speed. In the second mode, the maximum dynamic pressure of the air discharged is within a range of 30 kPa to 65 kPa when the motor is driven at the maximum rotational speed.

MOTOR FAN AND GUARD FOR DIRECTING COOLANT AIR

An electric motor assembly includes a stator, a rotor, a motor housing, a rotatable shaft, a radial fan, and an air scoop. The motor housing at least partly houses the stator and rotor and presents an exterior motor surface. The rotatable shaft is associated with the rotor for rotational movement therewith, with the rotatable shaft extending along a rotational axis. The radial fan is mounted on the rotatable shaft exteriorly of the motor housing and is rotatable with the shaft to direct airflow in a radially outward direction. The air scoop extends radially outwardly relative to the radial fan and axially to receive radial airflow from the radial fan and turn the airflow axially to flow along the exterior motor surface. The air scoop includes spaced apart axially extending airflow vanes to guide the airflow as the airflow is turned axially.

Single stage, axial symmetric blower and portable ventilator

A blower includes a housing including a proximal opening and a distal opening that are co-axially aligned, a stator component) provided to the housing, an impeller positioned between the proximal opening of the housing and the stator component, and a motor adapted to drive the impeller. The impeller includes a plurality of impeller blades. The stator component includes a plurality of air directing grooves along its exterior surface. The leading edge of the air directing grooves extend tangentially outwards from the outer tips of the impeller blades and are configured to collect the air exiting the impeller blades and direct it from a generally tangential direction to a generally radial direction by dividing the air from the impeller and directing the air along a curved path towards the distal opening so that airflow becomes substantially laminar.

Built-In Air Pump Assembly

A pump assembly is provided for use with an inflatable product. The inflatable product has a chamber having an air inlet and an air outlet. The pump assembly has a pump unit that is positioned inside the chamber for inflating and deflating the chamber, the pump unit having at least one motor that is operatively coupled to a first blower and a second blower, with the first blower fluidly coupled to the air inlet and the second blower fluidly coupled to the air outlet. The chamber is inflated by intake of air through the air inlet to the first blower and then into the chamber, and the chamber is deflated by drawing air from the chamber to the second blower and then out of the chamber through the air outlet.

A flow guiding device for use on a fan assembly with a motor-operated radial impeller rotating about an axis of rotation. The guiding device has an outer housing and an inner diffuser. A flow duct is formed between the outer housing and inner diffuser. The flow duct extends along an axial flow direction. The outer housing forms a receiving space for the integral holding of the radial impeller. The impeller borders, in the axial direction, on the inner diffuser. The impeller, during operation, takes in a flow axially and blows it out radially into the flow duct. The flow duct is adapted to deflect the flow from a radial direction into an axial direction.
