Pump for immersion within a fluid reservoir
A pump is provided for immersion in a fluid reservoir, such as a pit or lagoon containing liquid manure, from a position at an edge of the reservoir. The pump may be adapted for connection to a farm vehicle, such as a tractor, positioned at the edge of the reservoir. The pump comprises an extensible body, fluid conduit and drive means in order that a length of the pump may be varied in order to accommodate a variety of reservoir fluid heights. In addition, the pump may be pivotable relative to at least a portion of a frame in order that the entrance angle may be adjusted. The pump may comprise a housing with an inlet and an outlet, the outlet in fluid communication with the fluid conduit. An impeller within the housing may direct fluid from the inlet to the outlet in the housing.
Liner coupling pin
A coupling pin for use in a pump housing, the pump housing including an outer casing and an inner pump liner, the coupling pin being suitable for locating the liner and casing relative to one another, the coupling pin including a shank and a head at one end of the shank. The head includes a cammed surface thereon which is adapted to co-operate with a follower on the liner, and a locating section on a remote or terminal end of the head which is adapted to be positioned against a seat in the outer casing when fitted. The arrangement is such that rotation of the coupling pin causes the follower to track along the cammed surface so as to cause relative movement between the outer casing and the inner pump liner.
CENTRIFUGAL PUMP WITH ADAPTIVE PUMP STAGES
A centrifugal pump with adaptive pump stages includes an impeller configured to provide kinetic energy to fluid flow through the pump. The impeller has multiple geometric dimensions. The pump includes a diffuser connected to the impeller that is configured to convert the kinetic energy provided by the impeller into static pressure energy to flow the fluid through the pump. The pump includes an adaptive material attached to the impeller that is configured to modify, during operation of the pump, a geometric dimension to modify fluid flow through the pump.
Centrifugal pump in particular for waste water or polluted water
The invention relates to a centrifugal pump, in particular a waste water submersible pump having an impeller (1), of which the end face facing the pump intake opening is open and only the end face of the impeller facing away from the intake opening (8) is covered by a circular coaxial impeller hub (2), on which the curved vanes (3, 4) are fastened, and in particular molded on, wherein the base plate (7) having the intake opening (8) facing the impeller (1) or at least one segment (7a) of the base plate is mounted so as to be movable against spring pressure (20) in such a way that the distance thereof from the impeller (1) and thus from the impeller vanes (3, 4) changes.
Pump
A pump includes a motor housing configured to support a motor and a pump head coupled to the motor housing. The pump head includes an inlet configured to receive a fluid, an outlet in fluid communication with the inlet, and a bypass assembly configured to facilitate a path for fluid removal. The bypass assembly includes a bypass housing defining a channel in fluid communication with the inlet, a bypass vent in fluid communication with the channel, and a sealing member movably supported within the channel. The sealing member movable between a closed position where the sealing member blocks flow of the fluid from the inlet through the bypass vent and an open position where the inlet is fluidly connected to the bypass vent. An impeller positioned within the pump head and the bypass assembly is positioned downstream of the inlet and upstream of the impeller and the outlet.
Adjustable side liner for a pump
An adjustment assembly for pump casing of a pump, the pump casing including a main part and a side part having a main axis and a side wall section extending laterally with respect to the main axis. The adjustment assembly is operable to cause relative displacement between the side part and the main part of the pump casing. The adjustment assembly includes a drive device and an actuator which can be activated externally of the pump, the drive device being operable to cause the relative displacement of the side part in response to activation of said actuator, the relative displacement capable of being a combination of axial and rotational movement.
The pump has a frame, a fluid conduit coupled to the frame, a housing located at a bottom end of the liquid manure pump configured to be immersed in a liquid manure reservoir, a combiner for creating a liquid manure connection between at least two liquid manure outlets of the housing and the fluid conduit. an impeller located within the housing, a drive shaft connected to the impeller, and an agitator nozzle, in fluid communication with at least one of the liquid manure outlets, for directing a portion of the liquid manure outwardly from the pump.
Lubricant retainer for pump shaft bearing assembly
A lubricant retainer for use in a pump bearing assembly, the bearing assembly which in a first operating configuration is lubricated by a relatively highly viscous lubricant, and which in a second operating configuration is lubricated by a less-viscous lubricant, the bearing assembly comprising a bearing housing having a bore extending therethrough for receiving a pump drive shaft, spaced-apart bearing mounting zones within the bore with a chamber therebetween, each bearing mounting zone arranged for the in use receipt of a bearing therein, and wherein each zone has associated therewith one lubricant retainer, the lubricant retainer being adapted to be mounted within the bore adjacent the bearing mounting zone with which it is associated so as to form a barrier between the bearing mounting zone and the chamber when the pump bearing assembly is in the first operating configuration, the retainer being removed when the pump bearing assembly is in the second operating configuration.
Pump housing support
A pump housing support for use in a pump assembly, the pump assembly including a plurality of component parts which include a seal housing, a drive shaft having a rotation axis, an impeller and a pump housing, the pump housing which includes a main liner, the pump housing support including a base and a mounting member which includes a body portion to which a part of the pump housing can be mounted and a locating flange extending therefrom, the locating flange having first and second locating surfaces on opposing sides thereof and where the main liner is located on the first locating surface and the seal housing is located on the second locating surface.
