A cable restraint has: a first arm, having a first proximal end, a first distal end, and a first gripping portion located at the first distal end; a second arm, having a second proximal end, a second distal end and a second gripping portion located at the second distal end; wherein: the first proximal end is joined to the second proximal end, and the cable restraint is movable between: an open configuration in which the first gripping portion and the second gripping portion are spaced from each other to define a gap into which a cable may be inserted, and a closed configuration in which the first gripping port and the second gripping portion cooperate with each other to define a cable restraint channel

SNAP CLOSURE WITH ADJUSTMENT OF ITS SNAP TENSION
20220202143 · 2022-06-30 ·

A snap closure with adjustment of its snap tension is described, comprising a male component (1) selectively engaged in a female component (2), such male component (1) and/or female component (2) being fastened to a respective supporting device (11, 21) designed to receive connecting means to a surface of a respective substrate, and further comprising at least one removable connecting device (3) designed to allow changing a geometric shape of at least one component of the snap closure.

SELF-REGISTERING, -SQUARING, AND -SUPPORTING MOUNT APPARATUS AND METHOD
20220181862 · 2022-06-09 ·

An anchor for components of a lightning protection system may rely on a bonding agent, such as an adhesive, needing time for curing, drying, or otherwise setting (increasing in adhesion, strength, mechanical stability, or any combination thereof) by remaining in place while setting. The anchor may be suspended by a lip extending horizontally past an edge (plane of intersection of two planar surfaces) where a base plate is adhered to a vertical surface and the lip rests, registers in translation, and squares in rotation against a horizontal surface sharing an edge or fold (corner, bend) with the vertical surface. Once set sufficiently, the adhesive supports loads in shear (along plane of adhesion) and tension (perpendicular to plane of adhesion) imposed by brackets holding a cable, point, or both at each base plate.

QUICK CONNECT

An electrical connection assembly includes an electrical box including a housing having an internal surface defining an internal volume of the housing. An electrical connector is positioned outside the internal volume of the housing and fixed to the housing with a fastener. The housing includes an aperture having an opening defining an insertion path extending from a location external to the housing along a frame of the electrical connector to a location within the internal volume of the housing. The assembly includes a disc mechanically secured to the housing relative to the opening to obstruct the insertion path. A retainer and a bushing including a membrane for the electrical connector as well as methods of making an electrical connector are also provided.

FIXING ASSEMBLY

An embodiment of the present invention provides a fixing assembly comprising: a wire rack having a vertical frame and a horizontal frame; a slide rail which has a fixed rail coupled to the wire rack and a movable rail slidably disposed on the fixed rail; and a fixing means for fastening the fixed rail to the wire rack, wherein the fixing means comprises a first fixing clip provided on one side of the fixed rail and a second fixing clip provided on the other side of the fixed rail. The fixing assembly has a structure in which the first fixing clip is fixed laterally to the horizontal frame, and then the second fixing clip is fixed vertically to the horizontal frame.

Splice Clip for Cable Trays
20230261450 · 2023-08-17 ·

A splice clip for coupling discrete sections of a wire mesh cable tray. The splice clip can include a bolt with a base, a first ledge, and a second ledge opposing the first ledge. The base and the first and second ledges can define a passageway along the bolt. The splice clip can also include a retainer with a set of pockets, including a first pocket and a second pocket, and a set of guidance features configured to translate within the passageway to guide the bolt along and in engagement with the retainer. The first pocket can be configured to receive a first wire of a first discrete cable tray section and the second pocket can be configured to receive a second wire of a second discrete cable tray section. The bolt can be movable along the retainer between an open position and a closed position.

Mounting Bracket

The present disclosure is directed to a mounting bracket for mounting a driver to a housing of a luminaire, generally comprising a base member configured for attaching the mounting bracket to the housing of the luminaire and a pair of flanges extending laterally from the base member, each flange defining a clamp portion for engaging the driver to releasably attach the driver to the mounting bracket for mounting the driver to the housing of the luminaire

PURLIN CLIP ASSEMBLY AND SYSTEM

A weight-bearing system for hanging items from the roof structure of a metal building is disclosed. The system includes a purlin with at least one flange, a span aperture in the vertical span of the purlin, a clip that attaches to the purlin using the span aperture, and a fastener on the clip for transferring weight applied to the fastener to the clip and to the vertical span of said purlin.

Vehicle grille assembly

A grille assembly for a vehicle includes a vehicle grille having an opening with at least a pair of opposed edges, and at least one tab extending along at least one edge of the pair of opposed edges. The at least one tab has a base portion, an end portion, and two opposed faces extending between the base portion and end portion. The at least one tab is tapered such that a cross-sectional area of the tab taken along a plane extending perpendicular to either face of the opposed faces of the tab decreases in a direction extending from the base portion toward the end portion.
