Fastener system
12117029 · 2024-10-15 · ·

A fastener system shifting shear stresses away from a collet body and provides clamping action to targeted structures. The fastener system includes feet in the collet body that mate with openings in a sleeve at least partially surrounding the collet body. The sleeve or the collet body includes interior threads that engage with a stud that is configured to extend through the collet body and bend the feet such that they project outward from the sleeve openings in an engaged configuration.

CONNECTING EXPANSION BOLTS OVER-MOLDED WITH EXPANSION SLEEVES

A connecting expansion bolt over-molded with an expansion sleeve includes a bolt head at one bolt end and a bolt cone tapering in the direction of the bolt head. At the other bolt end, the bolt cone and an adjoining bolt shaft portion are over-molded with a plastic expansion sleeve, the sleeve end of which that surrounds the bolt cone is divided into a plurality of spreadable sleeve segments by open-ended slits. Provision is made for the sleeve end that surrounds the bolt cone to be divided into at least three sleeve segments. For at least two of the slits on the bolt cone that separate the sleeve segments from one another do not extend parallel to the bolt axis.

A connecting device between components of a piece of furniture includes a casing capable of being received in a first seat and in a second seat obtained respectively in a first and in a second component of the piece of furniture, and including a first and a second radially expandable region to engage respectively the first and the second component in correspondence of the first and the second seat, a tie rod received inside the casing with axial sliding power towards and from a locking position, and including a first segment in enlarged section and a second segment in enlarged section susceptible of engagement respectively with the first and the second region to determine a radial expansion of the casing when the rod is moved in the locking position, and an eccentric element arranged to engage a head of the tie rod and axially move it towards the locking position when the eccentric element rotates around its main axis.

ANCHOR BOLT

An anchor bolt (40) according to the present invention has a taper member (7) threadably engaged with the rod (4), and three or five abutment parts (12) fitted over the taper member (7). The taper member (7) has a cross section in a form of an equilateral triangle or pentagon, and three or five inclined surfaces (10) at respective sides of the triangle or pentagon. The inclined surfaces (10) are inclined closer to a central axis of the taper member (7) toward a base end of the anchor bolt (40). Each abutment part (12) has an inner surface (11) which is inclined closer to the central axis of the taper member (7) toward the base end and which abuts the inclined surface (10) of the taper member (7). In a state in which the taper member (7) and the abutment parts (12) are inserted into the attachment bore (2), when only the taper member (7) is moved toward an opening of the attachment bore (2), the outer peripheral surface (15) of the abutment parts (12) are pressed against the inner peripheral surface (2a) of the attachment bore (2) so that the abutment parts (12) are fixed in the attachment bore (2).
