Ball joint
A ball joint, in particular a chassis joint, which has a housing and a ball socket that comprises a ball bearing section for receiving a joint ball. An anti-rotation member prevents movement of the ball socket within the housing. To improve operational performance of the ball joint, the anti-rotation member is formed by a connecting element of the housing and a mating connecting element of the ball socket. The connecting elements have corresponding holding profiles so that, in an assembled condition, the connecting elements form a shape-enclosing plug-in connection.
Socket assembly with a pressed cover plate and method of construction thereof
A ball socket assembly and method of construction thereof is provided. The ball socket assembly includes a housing having an inner surface surrounding an inner bore. The inner bore extends from an open first end to an open second end. A groove extends into the inner surface adjacent the second end. A ball stud having a ball portion is disposed in the inner bore with a shank portion of the ball stud extending through the open first end. A cover plate assembly is fixed to the housing. An outer piece of the cover plate assembly has an outer periphery and a through opening. The outer periphery is fixed in the groove. An inner piece of the cover plate assembly is fixed in the through opening. The inner piece includes an opening configured for receipt of a lubricant fitting.
Ball joint holder with limiting element
A ball joint holder with limiting element includes a lower base, an upper base covered to the lower base, a ball shaft and a limiting element. The ball shaft has a rotation rod, and a ball body located around a lower end of the rotation rod. A lower end of the rotation rod protrudes outward to form a limiting block. Two opposite ends of the limiting element are pivotally connected with the lower base and the upper base. The limiting element opens a limiting groove. One of inner surfaces of a front wall and a rear wall of the limiting groove is defined as a limiting surface. The lower end of the rotation rod and the limiting block are received in the limiting groove. The limiting block is capable of abutting against the limiting surface.
BALL SEAT, BALL JOINT, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING BALL JOINT
A ball joint includes: a ball stud including a stud portion having one end portion connected to a structural member and another end portion, to which a ball portion is integrally joined; a housing made of metal and configured to support the ball portion to allow swinging and rotating movement of the ball portion; and a ball seat made of plastic and interposed between the housing and the ball portion. The ball seat includes a plurality of protrusions jutting out from the ball seat and inserted into a plurality of through holes formed in a bottom portion of the housing. The protrusions having pierced through the through holes are staked at their distal portions. The protrusion of the ball seat has a large diameter portion, whose diameter is larger than an inner diameter of the through hole, at its proximal portion proximal from the distal portion thereof.
Ball channel assembly
A ball channel and ball channel assembly are disclosed with the ball channel having a channel top, a channel bottom, and an inner portion including a first inner sidewall, a second inner sidewall, a first end wall, and a second end wall. A first resilient tab extends from the first inner sidewall with a first tab end surface, and a second resilient tab extends from the second inner sidewall with a second tab end surface. An elongated gutter extends longitudinally along the inner portion and adjacent the channel bottom, wherein the combination of the first and second tab end surfaces and a gutter top surface form a ball track for receiving a head of a ball stud and allowing secured sliding longitudinal movement of the head. An outer portion is also provided having a flange wall that is configured to engage a receiving wall of a mounting panel.
CHAIR BACKREST SWING STRUCTURE
A chair backrest swing structure includes a chassis connecting seat, a backframe connecting seat and an elastic buffer and reset member. The chassis connecting seat is configured to be cooperatively mounted with a chassis. The backframe connecting seat is configured to be cooperatively mounted with a backframe. The backframe connecting seat is rotatably cooperated with the chassis connecting seat. The elastic buffer and reset member is configured to enable that the backframe connecting seat may implement buffer and reset when swung left and right on the chassis connecting seat.
STUDDED BALL JOINT
A studded ball joint has a housing defining an interior cavity. A slot is formed at a first end of the housing and defines first and second guide surfaces. The interior cavity includes a concave surface. The studded ball joint further includes an annular sleeve slidingly engaged with the slot. A ball stud includes a bearing portion disposed within the cavity and sized to be at least partially received by the concave surface. The ball stud further includes an elongate stud portion extending from the bearing portion through the annular sleeve to define a first axis.
SUPPORT FRAME USING BALL MEMBERS
Disclosed is a support frame using ball members. The support frame using ball members of the present invention includes a support main body having a lower body provided with a plurality of lower cutout holes and an upper body provided with a plurality of upper cutout holes at positions corresponding to the plurality of lower cutout holes; a ball connector part provided with a plurality of ball members disposed in a plurality of space portions provided by the plurality of lower cutout holes and the plurality of upper cutout holes and coupled with a mounting object including at least one support; and a fastening part which is provided on the support main body and presses the plurality of hollow ball members by the lower body and the upper body to fix the positions of the plurality of ball members.
Fastening system for fastening built-in elements in a cabin of a vehicle
A fastening system has a fastening element and at least one fastening device having a flanged housing, a closure element, a hollow-sphere element and a spherical insert. The hollow-sphere element pivots about a first pivoting axis relative to the flanged housing, while the spherical insert pivots about a second pivoting axis in the hollow-sphere element. First engagement means in an opening of the spherical insert are of complementary design to second engagement means of the fastening element. The first and second engagement means are designed such that, in a first rotational position, the fastening element can be inserted freely into the opening and, in a second rotational position, the first and second engagement means engage in one another.
Fan mounting apparatus
A fan mount includes a first part movable relative to a second part. A retainer is connected to the second part of the fan mount above the first part for restricting the movement of the fan relative to the fan mount. The first part may be a ball member having a depending portion with an hourglass shape. A safety connector may be provided, and a retainer connected to the second part of the fan mount for retaining the safety connector. A cover may also be provided for mounting to the second part, the cover including a central opening for receiving the support. A trim piece is adapted for telescoping within the opening of the cover.
