The present disclosure relates to a slide block, the slide block assembly having a ball bushing bearing may include: a slide block which has formed at one side thereof a guide receiving part capable of receiving a slide guide of which at least a portion is formed as a linear section or a curved section; and a ball bushing bearing of which the inner surface is formed so as to correspond to the slide guide so as to be capable of making sliding contact with the slide guide, and the outer surface is formed so as to correspond to the guide receiving part so as to be capable of making rolling contact with the guide receiving part by means of a ball method.

Spherical oil film bearing

An oil film bearing for rotatably supporting a roll in a rolling mill is provide that includes a sleeve having an internal bore and an external spherical surface, the internal bore being configured and dimensioned for axial insertion onto a neck of the roll. A bushing includes an internal spherical surface configured and dimensioned to surround and rotatably contain the external spherical surface of the sleeve, the bushing being subdivided into multiple interconnected segments. A chock for containing and radially supporting the interconnected bushing segments.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING A SPHERICAL BEARING AND ASSOCIATED SPHERICAL BEARING

A spherical bearing an inner ring that can rotate and pivot with respect to an outer ring. A sliding body is placed about the inner ring and inside of the outer ring. The sliding body reduces the friction associated with the relative movement of the inner ring and outer ring. The sliding body has a concave inner surface that contacts the convex outer surface of the inner ring. The sliding body may be made of a polymer composite material to reduce the friction during movement. During assembly, the sliding body is placed about the inner ring, and then the outer ring is placed over the sliding body. To contain the sliding body, the outer ring may be bent or caulked.

Shaft seal assembly

An illustrative embodiment of a shaft seal assembly generally includes a fixed stator, a floating stator, and a sealing member. In the illustrative embodiment the fixed stator may be formed with one or more fluid conduits that are in fluid communication with one or fluid conduits formed in the floating stator. The fluid conduits in the floating stator may be in fluid communication with one or more fluid conduits formed in a sealing member. A rotational interface may exist between the sealing member and a shaft, and the various fluid conduits may be configured to create a fluid barrier at that interface. Other embodiments of a shaft seal assembly may create a fluid barrier at a rotational interface between a rotor and a floating stator.

Bearing assembly

A system includes a bearing assembly configured to be coupled to a compressor of a gas turbine engine and to receive an end of a torque shaft assembly, a bearing housing, and a circumferential bearing. The circumferential bearing includes a split race and a ball disposed within the split race. The circumferential bearing may be configured to be removed from the bearing housing without having to remove the torque shaft assembly from the compressor.

Spherical plain bearing with angular misalignment restraint system, and angular misalignment restrain system

A spherical plain bearing includes an outer ring having a concave interior spherical surface, and an inner member having a convex exterior spherical surface. The inner member is pivotally disposed in the outer ring such that the inner member and the outer ring are angularly misalignable relative to one another. The spherical plain bearing includes an angular misalignment restraint system which includes an inner member restraint feature on the inner member and an outer ring restraint feature on the outer member. The first and second portions are spaced apart when the inner member and the outer ring are angularly misaligned relative to one another by less than a predetermined maximum angle , and come into abutment when the inner member and the outer ring are angularly misaligned relative to one another by angle . The abutment prevents any further relative angular misalignment of the inner member and the outer ring.

CAMERA ARRANGEMENT COMPRISING A HOLDER CONFIGURATION FOR A CAMERA HEAD AND THE HOLDER CONFIGURATION
20240402579 · 2024-12-05 · ·

A camera arrangement comprises a camera head, a holder ring and a holder base. The camera head has an imaging unit and an interaction portion with constant cross section. The camera holder ring has an inner surface configured to fit onto the interaction portion of the camera head, and the camera holder base has a receptacle orifice dimensioned to receive the camera holder ring fitted onto the interaction portion of the camera head and grip an outer surface of the holder ring. The receptacle orifice has reduced dimensions due to a tightening function to fixate the camera holder ring and the camera head in relation to the camera holder base, and thereby to fixate an orientation of the camera in relation to the camera holder base. The camera holder ring is movable along a length of the interaction portion until the tightening function of the receptacle orifice has been actuated.

Bearing assembly with split outer ring having interference fit tabs and method of assembly of bearing

A bearing includes a split outer race having a first outer race member and a second outer race member that form an annular ring. The bearing includes an activation member that is rotatable from a first position to a second position and is at least partially disposed in the annular ring. A locking feature is defined by the first outer race member, the second outer race member and the activation member. The locking feature has an unlocked position and a locked position. The unlocked position corresponds to the first position of the activation member and the locked position corresponds to the second position of the activation member.
