Bearing device and exhaust turbine turbocharger
The present invention improves the drainability of lubricating oil at a thrust bearing. The present invention comprises: a rotating shaft; a thrust bearing that is provided to the rotating shaft and restricts the axial-direction movement of the rotating shaft; and an oil reservoir part (20) that has formed therein an oil reservoir space (20a) that is provided to be adjacent to the thrust bearing in the axial direction and to open downward, the oil reservoir space (20a) having formed therein an inclined surface (20aa) that, in a region that is in and below a horizontal plane H that passes through the center of the rotating shaft, protrudes to the thrust bearing side and is inclined along the rotational direction of the rotating shaft.
Turbomolecular pump lubricant supply systems
A turbomolecular pump has a housing, a rotor shaft supported by a plurality of bearings for rotation relative to the housing about an axis of rotation, a deflector, a lubricant supply system and a lubricant transfer device provided on the rotor shaft. The bearings include a rolling bearing that receives lubricant from the lubricant supply system to via the lubricant transfer device. The rolling bearing is disposed intermediate the lubricant transfer device and the deflector and the deflector is configured to deflect lubricant that passes through the rolling bearing outwardly with respect to the rotor shaft.
System for lubricating a bearing of a crop transport and/or processing system of a harvesting machine
A system for lubrication of a bearing of a crop transport and/or processing system of a harvesting machine includes a supply container for storing a lubricant, a delivery pump and a lubricant line for delivering the lubricant from the supply container to the bearing, and a drainage channel and a suction pump for returning the lubricant from the bearing to the supply container.
TAPERED ROLLER BEARING
A tapered roller bearing includes an inner ring having a tapered raceway surface and a large-collar surface on a large-diameter side of the raceway surface, and tapered rollers. Each of the rollers has a large end surface guided by the large-collar surface. When R represents a set curvature radius of the large end surface and R.sub.BASE represents a base curvature radius from a vertex of a cone angle of each of the tapered rollers to the large-collar surface, the base curvature radius R.sub.BASE is 100 mm or less, and a ratio R/R.sub.BASE of the set curvature radius R to the base curvature radius R.sub.BASE is set to 0.90 or less. When R.sub.ACTUAL represents an actual curvature radius of the large end surface of each of the tapered rollers, a ratio R.sub.ACTUAL/R of the actual curvature radius R.sub.ACTUAL to the set curvature radius R exceeds 0.5.
AIR TURBINE STARTER WITH LUBRICATED BEARING ASSEMBLY
An air starter for starting a turbine engine that includes a housing, a turbine member, a drive shaft, and at least one bearing assembly. The housing can define an interior where the turbine couples to the drive shaft that is rotatably supported by the least one bearing assembly. A lubricant passageway can provide lubrication to the at least one bearing assembly.
CAGE FOR BEARING
A bearing cage includes a first circular ring; a second circular ring provided to be spaced apart from the first ring in a coaxial relationship with the first ring; a plurality of pillars provided in a circumferential direction of the first ring and the second ring, one end of the pillar being connected to the first ring and the other end of the pillar being connected to the second ring; a plurality of pockets provided in the circumferential direction and configured to provide a space in which a bearing roller is accommodated, the pocket being formed to be surrounded by the first ring, the pillars and the second ring; and first reservoirs provided in the pillars and comprising a first storage space for storing lubricant.
Thrust bearing cooling device
The purpose of the present disclosure is to provide a thrust bearing cooling device which can improve the cooling efficiency of a thrust bearing. A thrust bearing cooling device comprising: a fluid storage tank in which a thrust bearing is installed and a fluid is stored, an outer surface of the fluid storage tank being exposed to external air; and at least one heat exchange fin provided in the fluid storage tank.
Motor having a mechanical seal for holding lubricating oil supplied to a bearing
A motor that ensures efficient supply of a lubricating oil to a mechanical seal and a bearing to reduce temperature rise in driving of a motor is provided. The motor includes a mechanical seal through which a rotary shaft of a rotor is inserted. The mechanical seal includes a seal ring and a mating ring. The seal ring has a sealing surface. The mating ring is secured to the rotary shaft. The mating ring has a sealing surface that contacts the sealing surface of the seal ring. The mating ring has a through hole on an outer edge side of the mating ring with respect to the sealing surface of the mating ring. The lubricating oil flows through the through hole to the bearing side.
SEALING CONCEPT FOR AN OUTPUT SHAFT
An arrangement includes a shaft, a bearing, and a structure fixed to a housing. The shaft is rotatably mounted in the structure fixed to the housing by the bearing, and a first gap extends between the shaft and the structure fixed to the housing. The bearing and the first gap are connected to each other in a lubricant-conducting manner via a cavity. The structure fixed to the housing forms a first sump for lubricant, and the first sump is configured to collect lubricant dripping from the first gap.
Oil bath type bearing device and rotary machine
An oil bath type bearing device which supports a rotating shaft rotating around an axis the bearing device is provided. The oil bath type bearing device includes a plurality of bearing pads which are arranged at intervals in a circumferential direction along an outer peripheral surface of the rotating shaft, an annular carrier ring which supports the plurality of bearing pads from an outer peripheral side and in which an oil supply hole through which a lubricant is supplied is formed, and a casing which covers the carrier ring from the outer peripheral side and holds the lubricant between the rotating shaft and the casing. The oil supply hole penetrate the carrier ring from the outer peripheral side to an inner peripheral side and extends toward a rear side in a rotational direction of the rotating shaft as the oil supply hole goes radially inward with respect to the axis.
