Rolling Bearing Apparatus
A rolling bearing apparatus includes: a bearing including an inner ring, an outer ring, a plurality of rolling elements, and a cage; and an oil supply unit provided axially adjacent to the bearing. The oil supply unit includes: a tank in which to accumulate lubricant; and a pump provided with a nozzle that emits the lubricant as an oil droplet toward a target of the bearing. The oil supply unit further includes a wind guard covering a passing region of the oil droplet thus emitted from the nozzle and having an opening toward a target side. An inner region of the wind guard, including the passing region, has a passage shape causing an airflow from a nozzle-side toward the opening on the target side where a negative pressure is caused due to a bearing rotation.
Rolling Bearing Apparatus
A rolling bearing apparatus includes: a bearing including an inner ring, an outer ring, a plurality of balls, and a cage; and an oil supply unit provided axially adjacent to the bearing. The oil supply unit includes a tank in which to accumulate lubricant, and a pump that receives the lubricant in the tank and supplies the lubricant to the bearing. The tank is provided with a holding material for the lubricant, the holding material having minute pores. The holding material includes a first holding portion provided in a region on an outlet-side of the tank, and a second holding portion provided in a part other than the region and having a porosity higher than that of the first holding portion.
LUBRICATION SYSTEM FOR AN ATTRITABLE ENGINE
A gas turbine engine with a lubrication system includes a ball bearing assembly and a rotor circumscribing a rotational axis and journaled within the ball bearing assembly. The gas turbine engine also includes a lubrication system located radially outward from a rotational axis and radially outward and adjacent to the ball bearing assembly, which includes a lubrication channel having an inlet and an outlet and a dispersion cone adjacent to the outlet of the lubrication channel.
TURBOCHARGER
A turbocharger comprises: a rolling bearing provided with a plurality of rolling elements arranged between a raceway formed on an inner ring and a raceway formed on an outer ring; and a housing for holding the outer ring. The housing is provided with: a first dam for restricting the outflow of a lubricant through a first discharge passage for discharging the lubricant from the outer ring; and a second dam for restricting the outflow of the lubricant through a second discharge passage for discharging the lubricant from an opening formed so as to be in communication with an axially intermediate portion of the outer ring and with a peripheral wall of a space.
TAPER ROLLER BEARING
A taper roller bearing includes: an inner ring, an outer ring, a plurality of taper rollers, and an annular cage. The cage includes a small-diameter annular portion on one side in a axial direction, a large-diameter annular portion which is positioned on the other side in the axial direction and on a radial outer side of a large flange of the inner ring, and a plurality of column portions which link the small-diameter annular portion and the large-diameter annular portion. The taper roller bearing has a labyrinth structure which suppresses a flow of lubricating oil to the outside of the bearing from the inside of the bearing between the large flange and the large-diameter annular portion.
TAPER ROLLER BEARING
A taper roller bearing includes: an inner ring, an outer ring, a plurality of taper rollers, and an annular cage which holds the plurality of taper rollers at an interval in the circumferential direction. The cage includes a small-diameter annular portion on one axial side, a large-diameter annular portion on the other axial side, and a plurality of column portions. An inner circumferential surface of the small-diameter annular portion includes a first inner circumferential surface portion and a second inner circumferential surface portion having a small diameter. An outer circumferential surface of the small flange included in the inner ring includes a first outer circumferential surface portion which opposes the first inner circumferential surface portion having a fine clearance, and a second outer circumferential surface portion which has a small diameter and opposes the second inner circumferential surface portion having a fine clearance.
CAGE FOR TAPER ROLLER BEARING AND TAPER ROLLER BEARING
A cage made of a resin includes: a small-diameter annular portion on one side in an axial direction; a large-diameter annular portion on the other side in the axial direction; and a plurality of column portions which link the small-diameter annular portion and the large-diameter annular portion to each other. Spaces which are formed between the large-diameter annular portion and the small-diameter annular portion and between the column portions adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction are pockets which hold the taper rollers. A surface of the entire cage including the small-diameter annular portion, the large-diameter annular portion, and all of the column portions is configured by aggregating a surface viewed from the one axial side and a surface viewed from the other axial side.
Tapered roller bearing
A front bearing (tapered roller bearing) includes an inner ring, an outer ring, a plurality of tapered rollers, a cage, and a lubricating oil holding member. The lubricating oil holding member includes: a cylindrical portion having an axial length from a large diameter-side outer ring end surface to an end portion of the cage and capable of resisting a pressing force for press-fitting the outer ring; a fitting hook that is connected to one end of the cylindrical portion, that projects in the axial direction from an abutment surface which is in surface contact with the large diameter-side outer ring end surface, and that is fitted in an engagement groove portion provided in an outer peripheral surface of the outer ring; and a projection that projects radially inward from an inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion.
BEARING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR FEEDING LUBRICANT TO BEARING
A bearing apparatus includes a lubrication unit and a sensor to sense the temperature of the lubricant in the lubrication unit. The lubrication unit has a pump having a storage portion in which the lubricant is stored and a piezoelectric body that is deformed by an applied voltage, the pump enabling the lubricant in the storage portion to be discharged into the annular space by reducing the volume of the storage portion in conjunction with the deformation of the piezoelectric body, the pump also enabling the lubricant to be sucked into the storage portion to refill the storage portion with the lubricant by increasing the volume of the storage portion, and a control unit that performs control by outputting a control signal allowing the speed of change in the volume of the storage portion to depend on the temperature of the lubricant.
TAPER ROLLER BEARING
A taper roller bearing includes: an inner ring, an outer ring, a plurality of taper rollers in which a cavity portions are formed on a large end surface, and an annular cage. The cage includes a small-diameter annular portion on one axial side, a large-diameter annular portion which is positioned on the other axial side and on the outer side in the radial direction of the large flange, and a plurality of column portions. An outer diameter of an axial inner surface included in the large-diameter annular portion is greater than a diameter of a virtual circle that links outer end portions in the radial direction of the cavity portions of the plurality of taper rollers.
