In one example, the turbocharger comprises a turbine case housing a turbine wheel and a compressor case housing a compressor wheel, the turbine case including a vaneless turbine nozzle integrated into the turbine case, a bearing case surrounding a shaft connecting the turbine wheel to the compressor wheel and arranged between the turbine case and compressor case, a plurality of long bolts arranged around a circumference of the turbine case, and a plurality of slots arranged around a circumference of the turbine case, a slot length of each slot extending in a radial direction and adapted to receive a dowel pin having a diameter smaller than the slot length, where each dowel pin, via a corresponding slot, couples the bearing case to the turbine case.

SPIRAL GROOVE BEARING ASSEMBLY WITH MINIMIZED DEFLECTION
20200294753 · 2020-09-17 ·

A liquid metal or spiral groove bearing structure for an x-ray tube and associated process for manufacturing the bearing structure is provided in which journal bearing sleeve is formed with a number of structures thereon that function to dissipate heat transmitted to the sleeve during operation of the bearing assembly within the x-ray tube to minimize thermal deformation of the sleeve, thereby minimizing gap size alteration within the bearing assembly. The structures formed within the sleeve are slots disposed within the section of the sleeve in which the highest temperature gradients develop. The slots enable an increase in thermal conductance away from the sleeve while minimizing the stresses created from the deformation of the portion(s) of the sleeve between the slots.

MAGNETIC LIQUID SEALING DEVICE ADAPTED TO AXIAL AND RADIAL DISPLACEMENTS OF CONNECTION
20200278031 · 2020-09-03 ·

The present disclosure discloses a magnetic liquid sealing device adapted to axial and radial displacements of connection, which includes: an end cover; a rubber-sealing-ring equipped first clamping plate fixed on the end cover by a first screw and a second screw; a rubber-sealing-ring equipped second clamping plate installed in a groove of the end cover; a fundamental sealing structure fixed on the rubber-sealing-ring equipped second clamping plate by a third screw and a fourth screw, so as to be isolated from the end cover by the rubber-sealing-ring equipped first clamping plate and the rubber-sealing-ring equipped second clamping plate. The device isolates the connected component from the magnetic liquid sealing structure by the two clamping plates, such that the axial and radial deformations and displacements of the connected component will not be loaded on parts in magnetic liquid sealing structure, prolonging the service life of the magnetic liquid sealing.

Hybrid rolling bearing, particularly for refrigerant compressor

A Hybrid rolling bearing includes an inner raceway and an outer raceway and a plurality of rolling elements arranged therebetween. The outer raceway and the inner raceway are made from bearing steel, having a first surface RMS roughness R.sub.q1. The rolling elements are made from a ceramic material and have second surface RMS roughnesses R.sub.q2,i. At least one of the rolling elements has an increased surface RMS roughness R.sub.q2,N, which is significantly higher than the RMS roughnesses R.sub.q2,i, of the remaining rolling elements. The hybrid rolling bearing can be installed within a refrigerant compressor.
