A stop part is fastened to the second bearing part with which the at least one sealing lip is in rubbing contact. The wheel bearing flange has an axial projection at least partially surrounds an axial projection of the first bearing part, and an inner surface of the axial projection of the wheel bearing flange forms a seat for the stop part.

The seal cover comprises: a fixed portion that is disposed in an interval between the outer member and the inner member and fixed to the end portion of the outer member; and a protective portion that is disposed radially outward of the rotating seal member and stops foreign matter from advancing to the rotating seal member from the outside. The rotating seal member comprises: an attachment portion fixed to the inner member; and a seal lip and a dust lip that extend from the attachment portion toward the seal cover. The dust lip extends obliquely radially outward from the attachment portion toward the seal cover.

The labyrinth seal may be combined with a bearing cone, a bearing cup, and a plurality of rollers to form a roller bearing assembly.

The seal case further includes an insert of the first end section made of a first material. The first end section and the radial wall of the intermediate section include a second material joined to the insert. The first material of the insert may be selected to provide improved durability and/or to resist expansion and contraction of the first end section caused by changes in temperature.
