The first framework may include a first radially extending part extending towards the inner ring, the second framework may include a second radially extending part extending towards the outer ring, and the second radially extending part may be located on an axially outer side of the first radially extending part. The sealing structure may form a first chamber and a second chamber in a radial direction, the first chamber being formed by the first or second radially extending part. The second chamber may be located on a radially inner side of the first chamber, and the elastic sealing member may include a first sealing member extending into the first chamber and a second sealing member extending into the second chamber.
SEALING STRUCTURE WITH ANNULAR POCKET AND SEALING DEVICE
A sealing structure with an annular pocket and a sealing device includes an annular pocket and a sealing device. The pocket is provided in a slinger, and the sealing device is attached to a housing of a differential device. The slinger is arranged on an output shaft of the differential device. A recessed part of the pocket is defined by an inner peripheral tubular portion, an outer peripheral tubular portion and a bottom portion of the slinger. The outer peripheral surface of the pocket is formed in the outer peripheral tubular portion of the slinger. The outer peripheral surface of the pocket increases in diameter toward the outside in an axis direction. A side lip of the sealing device extends in the outward direction, and an annular gap is formed between the side lip and the pocket.
SEALING APPARATUS
A sealing apparatus main body includes a reinforcing ring and an elastic material portion which is attached to the reinforcing ring and formed of an elastic material. The elastic material portion has a side lip formed so as to contact a slinger from the inside, a radial lip formed so as to contact the slinger from an outer periphery side, and an outer peripheral annular projection being an annular projection which is arranged on an outer periphery side of the side lip and protrudes to the outside. The slinger has a fitting portion and a flange portion extending from an outer end portion of the fitting portion to the outer periphery side. The elastic material portion forms a labyrinth seal between the outer peripheral annular projection and the side lip between the elastic material portion and the flange portion of the slinger.
Sealing arrangement for a wheel bearing
A sealing arrangement for a wheel bearing having a first bearing part and a second bearing part integrally connected to a wheel bearing flange, and rolling bodies being guided between said bearing parts, includes a carrier element and a stop part. The carrier element is connected to the first bearing part, an elastic element is provided on the carrier element, and the carrier element has a fastening section connected to the first bearing part. The elastic element has a sealing lip. The stop part is fastened to the second bearing part and in sliding contact with the sealing lip. The wheel bearing flange has an axial projection provided such that the projection protrudes in the direction of a cavity formed by an axial projection of the first bearing part. An inner surface of the axial projection of the wheel bearing flange forms a seat for the stop part.
Sealing device
A sealing device is constructed by combination of a lip seal member attached to a not-rotating stationary member and a seal flange member attached to a rotary member. The seal lip member has a lip seal member main body having an end face lip, an outward flange portion, and an outer peripheral tube portion. The seal flange member has a seal flange member main body and an outer peripheral side tubular portion. The sealing device further includes a non-contact type labyrinth seal having a predetermined axial length arranged between the outer peripheral tube portion in the lip seal member and the outer peripheral side tubular portion in the seal flange member. The sealing device can improve sealing performance, particularly muddy water sealing performance, while fulfilling the need for low torque.
ROTARY SEAL
There is provided a rotary seal capable of delaying a progress of corrosion of a steel-made member without increasing manufacturing cost even when a solution containing an electrolyte is present around a contact portion between a stainless steel-made member and the steel-made member. At least one of (i) a metal fitting portion A between a sleeve 2A of a stainless steel-made slinger 2 of a rotary seal 1A and an inner ring 12 that is a steel-made radially inner member, and (ii) an outside-air side surface of the slinger 2, which includes an outside-air side end portion of the fitting portion A, is provided with at least one of a silane-based adhesive layer containing powder of metal having a higher ionization tendency than iron, a thermosetting resin adhesive layer containing powder of metal having a higher ionization tendency than iron, and a coating film containing powder of metal having a higher ionization tendency than iron.
ROLLING BEARING WITH IMPROVED SEALING DEVICE
A rolling bearing with sealing device provided on each side of the rolling bearing in order to prevent the entry of contaminants inside the rolling bearing, the rolling bearing having a non-rotating outer ring and a rotating inner ring and with a plurality of rolling bodies placed between them. The sealing device provided with first and second shields arranged axially in series between them across a cavity defined by the two rings, the first shields integral with the outer ring and the second shields integral with the inner ring and defining with the first shields an annular gap, which has a substantially constant axial thickness and is radially bounded by a first sealing labyrinth arranged in the region of the outer ring and a second sealing labyrinth arranged in the region of the inner ring.
TWO PART SEAL ASSEMBLY FOR A TRACK ROLLER BEARING
A seal assembly for a bearing includes an inner seal member that has an annular ring with a first lobe extending therefrom and a seal receiving surface on a leg extending axially from the annular ring. The seal receiving surface has two seating areas. The seal assembly includes an outer seal member positioned radially inward from the leg and axially outward from the annular ring. The outer seal member has a pivot member which has a second lobe extending outwardly therefrom. The seal assembly includes a retaining ring that has a circumferential groove formed therein.
