Wheel bearing apparatus
A wheel bearing apparatus has an outer member, an inner member, at least one inner ring fit onto the inner member. Double row rolling elements are rollably arranged between the outer and inner raceway surfaces, via cages. A seal is mounted on one end of the outer member. The seal has side lips adapted to be in sliding contact with the wheel hub. The seal has three inclined side lips each extending radially outward from the seal body. The lips are adapted to be in sliding contact with the base of the wheel mounting flange. Interference of the side lips against the base of the wheel mounting flange is set so that the radially inner side lip has a smaller interference than that of the radially outer side lips, in order.
ACTUATOR DEVICE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
An actuator device (2) for a motor vehicle, in particular for a roll stabilizer of a motor vehicle, having a housing (6) and a drive output element (9) mounted to rotate relative to the housing about a rotation axis (11). Associated with the drive output element (9) is a seal (12) for sealing an inside space (24) of the housing (6) relative to an external environment (25). Associated with the drive output element (9) is an annular inner sealing element (20) and associated with the housing (6) is an annular outer sealing element (30). In an axial projection, the sealing elements (20, 30) partially overlap and are in contact so as to form at least one all-round sealing area (33a, 33b, 33c, 34a, 34b; 35a, 35b, 35c, 36).
Wheel bearing
A bearing assembly includes an inner bearing ring, an outer bearing ring and rolling bodies located between the inner bearing ring and the outer bearing ring. A gap is defined by a radially outer surface of the inner bearing ring and a radially inner surface of the outer bearing ring. The radially inner surface of the outer bearing ring includes a first radial surface portion that is offset a greater distance from a center of the bearing than a second radial surface portion. The first and second radial surface portions are connected by a sloped surface. A sealing arrangement located in the gap. The sealing arrangement includes a first annular body including an elastomeric sealing protrusion to contact the sloped surface of the outer bearing ring.
Sealing arrangement for wheel bearings, and wheel bearing unit comprising a sealing arrangement
A sealing arrangement for a wheel bearing includes a carrier element connectable to a first bearing part of the wheel bearing, a resilient sealing element, and a counterflow plate connectable to a second bearing part of the wheel bearing. The resilient sealing element includes a resilient main body arranged on the carrier element, first and second axial sealing lips extending away from the resilient main body, and a radial sealing lip extending away from the resilient main body. The counterflow plate is arranged with one side facing the carrier element such that the first and second axial sealing lips, and the radial sealing lip, are in sliding contact with the counterflow plate. The first axial sealing lip, second axial sealing lip, and radial sealing lip rest against the counterflow plate with respective contact pressures.
JOINT STRUCTURE AND ROBOT
A joint structure includes: a first member having a cylindrical first inner surface extending along a predetermined axis; a second member having a cylindrical outer surface disposed coaxially with the first inner surface; a first seal that seals annular gap between the first inner surface and the outer surface while allowing relative rotation of the first member and the second member about the axis; a third member having a second inner surface disposed coaxially with the first inner surface and detachably attached to the first member on an outer side of a sealing position sealed with the first seal; and a second seal that is press-fitted into the second inner surface and that seals annular gap between the second inner surface and the outer surface while allowing relative rotation of the first member and the second member about the axis.
BEARING UNIT PROVIDED WITH A SEALING DEVICE
A bearing unit having a central axis of rotation and having a radially outer ring, stationary, a radially inner ring, rotatable, and a sealing device, which is provided with: a first shield integral with the radially outer ring and which supports a first sealing element; a second shield integral with the radially inner ring and which supports a second sealing element; wherein the first and the second sealing element are provided with respective first and second shaped surfaces which: are axially opposed but not in contact with each other; define a plurality of ridges and valleys; and are radially staggered so that each ridge of the first shaped surface corresponds to a valley of the second shaped surface and vice versa.
