Anti-vibration mount comprising a first frame, a second frame, an elastomeric main body connecting the first frame and the second frame, the elastomeric main body allowing relative displacements of the second frame relative to the first frame in a first direction of vibration and in a second direction of vibration perpendicular to the first direction of vibration, the elastomeric main body also being suitable for mounting a weight in the first direction of vibration. An inertia body is connected to the first frame by an elastic suspension interposed between the inertia body and the first frame along the second direction of vibration. An elastomeric lateral abutment body is interposed between the first frame and the inertia body to limit the relative displacements of the second frame with respect to the first frame in the second direction of vibration. The inertia body has a natural frequency lower than 800 Hz.

A vibration proofing device (10) includes an insulator (50) interposed between a first attaching member (30) and a second attaching member (40), and is disposed in an internal space (95) of a second bracket (90). The first attaching member (30) is formed to have two side walls (33, 33) parallel to each other to face the inner face of the second bracket (90). The second attaching member (40) is a tubular member having an opening (41a) passing therethrough in an upper-lower direction. At least one of side edge portions of each side wall (33) is disposed outside the opening (41a) of the second attaching member (40). Each side wall (33) is provided on an outer face thereof with a stopper (51) made of an elastic material. With this configuration, it is possible to sufficiently absorb an impact shock resulting from the stopper (51) hitting the second bracket (90).

A stopper includes: a mounting hole into which an inside member is inserted; and a plurality of surface ribs and a plurality of rear surface ribs. A plurality of surface ribs respectively protrude from the surface and linearly disposed. A plurality of the rear surface ribs, on a rear surface, respectively protrude from between the surface ribs and linearly disposed. In a predetermined region in a circumferential direction of the mounting hole, intervals between the surface ribs adjacent to each other and intervals between the rear surface ribs adjacent to each other are set to be constant throughout an entire length in an extending direction in which the surface ribs and the rear surface ribs extend.
