Mount assembly with electro-hydro-pneumatic switchable displacement elements
A system and method using a mount assembly for attaching a powertrain to a structural member of a vehicle. The mount assembly includes a first compliant member, a second compliant member, a first fluid chamber, a second fluid chamber, a third fluid chamber, a pressure compliant membrane, and a valve. A fluid conduit interconnects the first fluid chamber with the second fluid chamber to allow a fluid to pass from the first fluid chamber to the second fluid chamber. The third fluid chamber has an opening in communication with the second fluid chamber and a vent port. The pressure compliant membrane seals the opening between the second fluid chamber and the third fluid chamber. The valve selectively seals the vent port in the third fluid chamber. A first stiffness profile of the mount assembly is selected by actuating the valve to open the vent port. A second stiffness profile of the mount assembly is selected by actuating the valve to close the vent port.
SPIRAL INERTIA TRACK VIBRATION ABSORBER
Technologies are described for devices to absorb vibration. The devices may comprise an inertia track housing, an inertia track fluid reservoir, and an inertia track body. The inertia track fluid reservoir and the inertia track body may be within the inertia track housing. Walls of the inertia track body may define a first and a second spiral inertia track. The first and second spiral inertia tracks may be spiral channels within the outer surface of the inertia track body. The first spiral inertia track may connect a first fluid reservoir with the inertia track fluid reservoir. The second spiral inertia track may connect a second fluid reservoir with the inertia track fluid reservoir. The first and second spiral inertia tracks may be configured to channel the flow of a fluid along the first spiral inertia track and the second spiral inertia track and interact with the fluid to absorb vibration.
HYDRAULIC MOUNT ASSEMBLY AND A POWERTRAIN THAT UTILIZES THE HYDRAULIC MOUNT ASSEMBLY
A hydraulic mount assembly includes a mount body defining a cavity. A powertrain includes a dynamic mass, and a structure that supports the dynamic mass. The assembly is attached to the structure and supports the dynamic mass. A first plate is fixed relative to the mount body inside the cavity to separate the cavity into a first chamber and a second chamber. The first plate defines a plurality of first passages that fluidly connects the first and second chambers. A decoupler is disposed between the first and second chambers. An actuator is coupled to the first plate. The decoupler is movable in response to actuation of the actuator. The decoupler abuts the first plate when in a locked position to prevent fluid communication through the first passages. The decoupler is movable relative to the first plate when in an unlocked position to allow fluid communication through the first passages.
ANTI-VIBRATION DEVICE
The anti-vibration device (1) includes: an inner attachment member (11); an outer cylinder (12) that surrounds the inner attachment member; and elastic bodies (31, 32) that elastically couple the inner attachment member and the outer cylinder. The elastic bodies include: a pair of end elastic bodies (31) fitted in the outer cylinder; and a pair of intermediate elastic bodies (32) separately arranged on both sides of the inner attachment member and between the end elastic bodies. Covering members (17) that form liquid chambers (14a, 14b) between the covering members and the inner attachment member is arranged between the inner attachment member and the outer cylinder. An orifice passage that provides communication between the liquid chambers is formed between the covering members and the outer cylinder. The entire intermediate elastic bodies are formed of rubber material. The covering members surround the entire circumference of the inner attachment member from outside thereof in a radial direction and cause compressive deformation of the intermediate elastic bodies inward in the radial direction and inward in a circumferential direction.
Hydraulic transmission mount and method of manufacturing the same
A hydraulic transmission mount which isolates noise or vibration of an engine, the hydraulic transmission mount may include a core which moves horizontally together with a main rubber vulcanized outside the core in accordance with behavior of a vehicle; stoppers which are coupled to both surfaces of the core and define a hermetic liquid chamber with the core; a bracket which surrounds the stoppers and fixes the hydraulic transmission mount to a vehicle body; and a spoke which penetrates an insertion hole formed at a center of the core and has protruding regions that are bent at both end portions of the spoke and in contact with the stoppers, wherein a fluid encapsulated in the liquid chamber flows through the insertion hole in accordance with the behavior of the vehicle.
Engine mount for vehicle
An engine mount for a vehicle may include a support bracket including a mounting hole formed in one end portion thereof, an engine-mounting plate provided at an opposite end portion thereof to be connected to an engine, and a coupling portion protruding from an external surface of the one end portion thereof; a fluid-filled assembly including a hook cup configured to be inserted into the mounting hole in the support bracket; and a rubber assembly configured to be mounted to a vehicle body, wherein, in a state in which the fluid-filled assembly is inserted into the mounting hole in the support bracket, the fluid-filled assembly is stacked on a top surface of the rubber assembly, and a housing of the rubber assembly is coupled to the coupling portion of the support bracket.
