Steering device
A steering device includes: a coupling including a first coupling member, a second coupling member, and an elastic member, the elastic member which is made from a resin, and which includes an elastic member base portion, a first rotation direction elastic portion, a second rotation direction elastic portion, a third rotation direction elastic portion, a fourth rotation elastic portion, and an axial elastic portion, the axial elastic portion which is provided to the elastic member base portion, and which is arranged to be bent in a direction to be inclined with respect to the first axis when a clearance between the first shaft member assembly and the second shaft member assembly in the direction of the first axis is decreased.
ENGINE DAMPER COOLING UTILIZING CAB A/C CIRCUIT
In one embodiment, a method for cooling an engine damper, including converting a gas to a liquid, and cooling an engine damper by passing the liquid through a tube portion located between fan air flow and the engine damper.
REAR WHEEL BRAKING DEVICE FOR MOTORCYCLE
To provide a rear wheel braking device for a motorcycle that can reduce an unsprung mass and the number of pieces of components on the rear wheel side of a shaft drive type motorcycle. In a rear wheel braking device for a motorcycle transmitting a drive force of a power unit of a motorcycle to a rear wheel through a drive shaft that extends in a vehicle longitudinal direction, the drive shaft includes a propeller shaft that is connected to a rear end of an output shaft through a universal joint, the output shaft protruding to the vehicle body rear side from a case member of the power unit. A brake disk is attached to the output shaft, the brake disk being braked by a rear wheel brake caliper. The rear wheel brake caliper is fixed to a bracket that is arranged in the case member, and is disposed on the vehicle body upper side of the brake disk.
Flexible Shock-Absorbing Parts and Flexible Damping Device
A flexible shock-absorbing parts, suitable for use in a flexible damping device which connects and absorbs torque from two different mechanical shafts, so that they are coaxial during transmission. The flexible shock-absorbing parts is arranged between the two machines and closely attached to them; the flexible shock-absorbing parts are arranged radially on the first plane. The first plane is composed of the X-axis and the Y-axis in the Cartesian coordinate system. When the flexible shock-absorbing parts are installed in the vehicle, it allows the vehicle to absorb larger instantaneous external forces received by the wheels when the vehicle is travelling so that the impact of these external forces on the structure of the motor and the second gear inside the gear box can be reduced, thereby achieving protection for them.
BALANCER SHAFT
A balancer shaft includes a shaft body, a driven gear, a fixed member fixed to the shaft body, and an elastic member located between the driven gear and the fixed body. A projection projects from the driven gear. The fixed member includes an accommodation recess accommodating the projection. The elastic member is arranged in the accommodation recess adjacent to the projection. The projection includes an abutment side surface, which includes an outer end. The outer end and the elastic member are spaced apart in the circumferential direction by a first distance when the abutment side surface and the elastic member are in abutment without elastically deforming the elastic member. The first distance is greater than a maximum value of an elastic deformation amount of the elastic member in the circumferential direction when the elastic member is pressed between the projection and a wall of the accommodation recess.
POWER TRANSMISSION DEVICE OF STEERING SYSTEM
A power transmission device of a steering system. A first connector includes a first coupling portion coupled to a first shaft and first supporting portions protruding axially from the first coupling portion. A second connector includes a second coupling portion coupled to a second shaft disposed coaxially with the first shaft and second supporting portions protruding axially from the second coupling portion to be circumferentially spaced apart from the first supporting portions. A damper is coupled axially between the first connector and the second connector, and includes blades supported circumferentially between the first supporting portions and the second supporting portions.
POWER TRANSMISSION DEVICE OF STEERING SYSTEM
A power transmission device of a steering system. A first connector includes a cylindrical first support coupled to one of coaxial first and second shafts and first coupling portions extending axially from inner circumferential portions of the first support. A second connector includes a second support coupled to the other of the first and second shafts and fitted into the first support and second coupling portions extending axially from outer circumferential portions of the second support. A damper includes outer support recesses provided in outer circumferential portions thereof, with the first coupling portions being fitted into the outer support recesses, and inner support recesses provided in inner circumferential portions thereof, with the second coupling portions being fitted into the inner support recesses, wherein the damper is coupled between the first connector and the second connector.
POWER TRANSMITTING DEVICE
A power transmitting device includes a first rotor and a second rotor rotatably disposed coaxially with a rotational central axis and in facing relation to each other. A first pressing protrusion projecting from the first rotor and a second pressing protrusion projecting from the second rotor are disposed in relative positions on superposed rotation trajectories. A soft rubber member elastically deformable to a large extent and has a small modulus of elasticity and a hard rubber member elastically deformable to a small extent and has a large modulus of elasticity are interposed between the first and second pressing protrusions. While no relative torque load is being applied to the first and second rotors, the soft rubber member is held in contact with both the first and second pressing protrusions, and the hard rubber member is interposed between the first pressing protrusion and the second pressing protrusion with gaps therebetween.
