Electric drive unit with a multi-speed transmission and method for transmission operation

Systems and methods for an electric drive unit are provided. A transmission system in an electric drive unit, in one example includes an input shaft rotationally coupled to each of a first electric machine and a second electric machine and a first clutch arranged coaxial to a first countershaft, where a first gear is fixedly coupled the first clutch and meshes with a second gear that is fixedly coupled to the input shaft. The transmission system further includes a second clutch arranged coaxial to a second countershaft and spaced away from the first countershaft and a third gear that is fixedly coupled to the second clutch and meshes with the first gear, where the first clutch and the second clutch are configured to shift the transmission system between multiple gear ratios and deliver mechanical power to an output shaft that is spaced away from the second countershaft.

Powershift transmission of a motor vehicle

A powershift transmission of a motor vehicle has a split group with a plurality of powershift stages. An input shaft can be rotatably driven by a drive shaft of a motorized drive and transmits rotational movement in a stepped-up manner to an output shaft of the split group corresponding to one of several powershiftable stage transmissions. The powershiftable stage transmissions can be rotatably driven in a stepped-up manner by the output shaft of the split group via an intermediate group located therebetween, and via an input shaft of a synchromesh transmission group having a plurality of gear stages. A vehicle axle transmission can be rotatably driven by the output shaft of the synchromesh transmission group. The intermediate group has a multiple powershift intermediate transmission, in which each switching position the input shaft of the synchromesh transmission group can be rotatably driven by means of an associated transmission.

SIX-GEAR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FOR AUTOMOBILE WITH BRUSHLESS CONTROL-BY-WIRE CENTRIFUGAL BALL ARM ENGAGEMENT DEVICE

The present invention discloses a six-gear automatic transmission for automobile with a brushless control-by-wire centrifugal ball arm engagement device. One brushless control-by-wire centrifugal ball arm engagement device is provided between each gear input gear and each gear driving gear; and by controlling the engagement and disengagement of the brushless control-by-wire centrifugal ball arm engagement device, the shifting control of the six-gear automatic transmission for automobile with a brushless control-by-wire centrifugal ball arm engagement device is performed. The present invention has such advantages as compact structure, being capable of dynamic gear-shift, no mechanical or hydraulic gear-shift components and low operational energy consumption.

A powershift transmission, particularly for a construction machine such as backhoes or telehandlers, includes a mechanical power path and a hydrodynamic power path. The first, second and third gears can be engaged by way of the hydrodynamic torque converter (1) while the fourth, fifth and sixth gears can be engaged without the hydrodynamic torque converter (1). For this, the input shaft (6) is connected to the turbine (14) and the driveshaft (7) can be directly connected to the drive engine. The driveshaft (7) is located inside the input shaft (6).
