The present invention has an object of providing a sealing structure for a casing that suppresses the deformation of a center plate of a laminated gasket on a partition wall and ensures the compression amount of a bead on the partition wall, without the center plate being thickened. The object is achieved by a sealing structure including: a case 2, the interior of which is partitioned by a partition wall 25 into an upstream chamber 23 and a downstream chamber 24; a cover 3, which forms a flow path for a fluid that causes the upstream chamber 23 and the downstream chamber 24 to be communicated inside; and a laminated gasket 4, in which a first gasket 41, a center plate 43, and a second gasket 42 are laminated, and that is provided between a butting surface 22a of the case 2 and a butting surface 32a of the cover 3, in which the first gasket 41 and the second gasket 42 respectively include beads 41b and 42b along the butting surfaces 22a and 32a, and the first gasket 41 and the center plate 43 respectively include partition-wall sealing portions 41a and 43a along the partition wall 25, the partition-wall sealing portion 41a of the first gasket 41 includes the beads 41b, and the cover 3 is provided with a contact portion 34 that applies a contact force to the partition-wall sealing portion 43a of the center plate 43.

METAL GASKET

A metal gasket (10) installed between a cylinder head and a cylinder block comprises at least one metal substrate (11) coated with a sealant (19) on its outer surface, and including a full bead (13) for cylinder bore hole sealing and a half bead (16) for liquid hole sealing. The half bead (16) includes: an inclined plate portion (16b) connected to a flat substrate body (11a) of the metal substrate (11) through a first bend portion (16a) and inclined with respect to the substrate body (11a); and an edge plate portion (16d) connected to the inclined plate portion (16b) through a second bend portion (16c) and inclined with respect to the inclined plate portion (16b). A radius at a convex surface of the first bend portion (16a) and a radius at a concave surface of the second bend portion (16c) are in a range of 2.0 mm to 3.5 mm.

Metal gasket

The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a metal gasket capable of limiting the loss of axial bolt fastening force even if a peripheral creased section is formed as an anti-saline intrusion measure; and a metal gasket, which has relatively small curved sections with a radius of curvature of not more than 20 mm on the outer edge and which is capable of limiting loss of axial bolt fastening force even when a peripheral creased section is formed over the entire perimeter of the metal gasket as an anti-saline intrusion measure. Said problem is solved by a metal gasket, which is disposed between the abutting surfaces of two members and has, on a metal base plate: bolt holes into which bolts are inserted; a bead that is to the inside of the bolt holes and is for sealing between the abutting surfaces; and a peripheral creased section configured by bending the perimeter of the metal base plate in one direction so that no gap in which saline can accumulate is formed between the abutting surfaces. The peripheral creased section has areas formed by gradually changing bend length in the gasket circumferential direction so that loss of axial bolt fastening force when compressed by bolts is limited.

Sealing gasket for piping systems and its manufacturing process

The present invention is for sealing gaskets applicable to pipes, valves and boiler equipment. In this context, the present invention provides a sealing gasket for piping systems comprising (i) a core (10) formed by a plurality of concentric metal rings (10a), each ring (10a) comprising a substantially rectangular cross-section, wherein the height of the rectangular cross-section is the same for all the rings (10a), and (ii) surface coating (12) of flexible material applied to the upper and lower surfaces of the core (10). The present invention also provides the manufacturing process of said sealing gasket. Thus, the present invention provides a sealing gasket (i) that eliminates the need for an external rigid ring, (ii) that is easy to conform for reduced-diameter sealing gaskets and (iii) can be easily formed into different shapes, such as an oval shape, which is particularly useful for sealing between the body and the gate valve bonnet.

Gasket with electrical isolating coatings

An electrically isolating gasket is disclosed wherein a coating layer is disposed on at least one conductive surface, and in some embodiments, on all surfaces or at least all of the conductive surfaces. The electrically isolating gasket includes a core gasket component, a ring seal component, and a non-conductive inner seal component. The coating layer can be, for example, polyimide, polyamide, ceramic, and aluminum oxide.

GASKETS WITH A NON-COMPRESSIBLE CORE AND ONE OR MORE COMPRESSIBLE LAYERS

COATING AGENT FOR RUBBER-COATED CYLINDER HEAD GASKET AND CYLINDER HEAD GASKET

A coating agent for a rubber-coated cylinder head gasket contains a lubricant and a urethane resin. The lubricant is unsintered polytetrafluoroethylene resin particles having an average primary particle size of 1 m or less. The amount of the unsintered polytetrafluoroethylene resin particles in a solid content is 30 to 80% by volume. The present invention provides a coating agent for a rubber-coated cylinder head gasket that can form a coat that is highly wear-resistant under high contact pressure and high temperature conditions and with which a rubber layer is less likely to stick to the seal face of the cylinder block or the cylinder head after the use under high contact pressure and high temperature conditions, and a cylinder head gasket obtained using the coating agent.
