DYNAMIC INTERFERENCE SEALING DEVICE AND SYSTEM WITH IMPROVED CONTACT BEHAVIOUR
A sealing system including an annular support, an annular sealing element and an annular shielding element; a first and a second lip of the sealing element interact slidingly with an abutment surface of the shielding element and each include: a root portion which extends perpendicularly in cantilever fashion from a flange portion of the annular support; a flexing portion, which extends in cantilever fashion from the root portion in an oblique direction with a thinner radial thickness, delimited by an annular internal surface facing the abutment surface and by an annular external surface facing towards the support, consisting of surfaces of revolution generated by segments of circumference; and a contact portion including a wedge-shaped overhang and a step portion flanking the overhang, which forms with the abutment surface a first and a second angle (α, β), the first angle facing the annular support and being smaller than the second angle.
HUB BEARING ASSEMBLY
A hub bearing assembly includes a housing with a vertical bore, a bearing outer ring disposed within the bore and coupled with the housing and a bearing inner ring disposed within the bearing outer ring and having a central bore configured to receive a portion of the shaft. A set of rolling elements are disposed between the bearing outer and inner rings. An upper seal is disposed within the housing bore externally of the outer ring and includes an annular elastomeric seal body and a garter spring biasing a seal lip radially inwardly. A lower seal is disposed between the bearing outer and inner rings. Either the bearing inner ring is sized such that upper seal is disposed about the bearing inner ring or the hub bearing assembly further comprises an annular spacer disposed within the upper seal and adjacent to the upper axial end of the bearing inner ring.

Bearing compartment seal configuration for a gas turbine engine
A bearing compartment seal for a gas turbine engine includes at least one seal ring defining an axis and having a radially inward facing sealing surface and a seal runner having a support constructed of a first material and an interface portion constructed of a second material. The interface portion includes a radially outward facing surface. A first coefficient of thermal expansion of the second material is at most approximately equal to a second coefficient of thermal expansion of the at least one seal ring.
Seal arrangement and method for manufacturing a seal arrangement
Provided is a seal arrangement for sealing an internal space between two components mounted for rotation relative to each other, in particular for sealing a wheel bearing. The seal arrangement comprises a first carrier element, which can be connected to the first component, and a second carrier element, which can be connected to the second component. A sealing element is formed on at least one of the carrier elements and rests against the respective other carrier element at least one contact point. It is provided that at least one opening is made in the first carrier element, into which a ventilation element is inserted. It is provided that a receiving space is formed on the ventilation element, which is delimited in the radial direction by a collar on a base body of the ventilation element, wherein a gas-permeable membrane or a porous body is arranged in the receiving space.
